Great food, service, and ambiance! The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. Love coming here!

I come to this place every Friday and that is not an exaggeration, I absolutely love this place. Everything on the regular and specials menu is amazing and I’m always finding something new. The margaritas are always terrific and Jordan, one of the bartenders, is super nice and even remembers my sisters order, that’s how often my family and I come here. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Today I visited Los Agaves and both the food and the treatment and service of the staff were excellent. The food is exquisite, the portions are abundant and very well presented. The staff is very attentive and respectful. I recommend them

Excellent food, delicious flavor, service is fabulous, 100% recommended. I was visiting that place and I was looking for something to eat. What I ordered were the Tapatio flautas and the flavor is an air, Tapatio flavor, I congratulate you for preserving the true Mexican flavors.

Not like a typical Mexican restaurant. It has the ambiance of a sit down restaurant but you order your food at the counter and then they’ll bring it to you. I like that they give 3 different samples of salsa with your chips. Be aware of the green one because it’s spicy. I ordered the flautas (flautitas tapatias) which was very delicious and very filing. They serve the beans in a taco salad bowl which I loved however the beans are not traditional refried beans, they reminded me of the beans you put it pork and beans so that was my only negative. Other than that I would recommend that you try this place.

Sit at bar for full service, otherwise u need to get up and order from register. They do have good drinks though.

I had never been to Los Agaves. There food, amazing and there service as well. Will definitely come back and I recommend this place to who ever is seeking a great Mrxican restaurant in Westlake.

Family friendly environment with delicious food and my favorite salsas. For the price I would expect a dine-in experience, but instead you order at a counter which cheapens the experience I’m looking for.

The culinary offerings at this establishment were nothing short of excellent, exuding an upscale vibe despite its unorthodox ordering system at the front. Far from casual, the restaurant teems with attentive staff who conscientiously circulate to guarantee unwavering food quality. A standout was Carlos, whose fantastic service truly elevated the dining experience, adding a personal and welcoming touch to the occasion.

Lousy customer service. Poor management skills. Waited over an hour to be seated. Server brought menus and placed our drink order. Sat another 30 minutes before I ask a staff member if she could call our server. She informs me server doesn't take order we're suppose to order at the register. What, I'm upset now because the server didn't inform us. I ask for manager, he tells me he's sorry our server assumed we knew the process. The Manager was aware of the length of time we've waited to be seated and that we are a party of 10. I tell him to have someone take our order since we've waited so long and we're a large party. He straight out tells me NO! He was more concerned about his server because my husbsnd stated he was not going to tip. We paid for our drinks and left. Worse part is that we went there to celebrate my birthday. We wasted our time. No remorse what so ever. Horrible experience. We will never return or refer this place to anyone.

Seriously the best Mexican food and drinks around! Wide menu variety with traditional and specials.

I am great food lover and always try to visit different type of restaurants and explore different cuisine. Coming from Santa Barbara, Los Agaves is one of the renowned name and moment I saw it’s presence in West Lake village, I jumped in and I am not surprised with the food quality - it’s great as usual.
What caught my attention is that this particular restaurant has world class service - man I have experienced very rarely such a great hospitality. The gentleman who is in bar and mostly takes care of guests is a pure pleasure to hat with and he made me feel comfortable with offering glass of cool water, he noticed I am an Indian and as a result he offered really spicy dip which turned out of great taste as well. He checked in between if everything is fine! I noticed he is doing it with all the tables.
Seating and ambiance is great. As described in the picture attached, my God, molcajete shrimp dish was was so delicious. This is it. Come and enjoy the hospitality which is very very rare in restaurants now a days even though you are almost forced to pay 18% gratuity in other places

Can’t rate the food since we waited 20 minutes for someone to come and take our order and no one even said hello so we left. We did however get to see the servers serve everyone else in the restaurant… even people that came in after us. Oh yeah and not a busy day there was seating everywhere. Super disappointed since we were recommended this place and we are from out of town. I’m in the customer service industry, have been for 15 years, and I’ve never ignored a customer even on a bad day. Please make your servers more attentive and more personable with everyone in the place. The food looked good but with bad servers it definitely took away the excitement.

I’m never disappointed when I come here

The food tasted okay! They don’t really have any vegetarian options (shocker!) as their rice and beans also contain lard, apparently. The servers were hit or miss but our cashier was amazing (you have to pay first and then get a table)! Our cashier worked with the kitchen to carve a vegetarian dish (used pinto beans instead) specially for us! Overall, the vibes were great but the food and service could be better! The food also had a crazy amount of salt.

Food was great. The only thing is you dont get a sever. The black beans and houses salad is amazing mOJAITA with shrimp is really good. I enjoy my food. If your look for good mexicana resturant it great. I recommend for you to com3
