Yong is by far the best, knowledgeable RN. He should be promoted and used to train other RNs. His actions speak greater than words. He is diligent in caring for patients!

I am totally disgusted with the lack of any respect to my condition and pain. This RN Yong continually delayed my medication.the nerve of him. He even told me to return to my room, sort of like a child. He told me they ran out of my pills which I dont believe. He is not professional. However I felt that the attitude permeated from the management who seemed to be absent including at my discharge where the only person in Charge was the driver Alfredo who told me I just had to get in the truck without my rolator walker while I cant put any weight on my leg at all. Also no medication. The social worker Ryan Santos was also worth less than nothing. He called me on a private Kansas City line and yet never left a message or returned a call or answered. WHAT A TOTAL MESS I DIDNT NEED

REVIEW UPDATE as of July 2023, this center still refuses to pay for the entire cost. Legal paperwork has been filled out with the Santa Clara County Court and it looks like we will be going to court.

ORIGINAL: This facility threw away my mom’s dentures by accident. It’s okay, accident happen, we only requested that they replace them so she can eat. This facility refused to replace them immediately stating that she was able to “eat perfectly fine without them. ” After months and months of going back and forth with the facility, Alexa one of the social workers of this facility, they finally agreed to pay. They stalled for months trying not pay knowing that it would be expensive. TOO BAD SO SAD! When my mom left this facility they still had not replaced her dentures and “promised” they would still pay and that a check would be sent out.

Due to the fact that didn’t have her dentures for so long, when my mom went to her dentist stated “she has been using her left side where there's a bridge. This is the only chewing side she has since the partial dentures were lost. It is now traumatized and shattered into pieces, and unrepairable. ” Her dentist’s words, not mine. As of now, my mom has not had her dentures for over 9 months now.

Ever since they heard that they also are liable for this, they have stopped taking the dentist calls. And my mom is still without her dentures and with a broken bridge because of their negligence. My mom will be suing with you! You will not only pay for the dentures, the repair of the bridge, but also all legal fees. You thought it was expensive before, it will most definitely be now. Maybe this will finally get your attention.

If you need any kind of help. Skip the place. You are better off at home rehabbing yourself. I mean the place is old outdated and rundown

I'am new at this game of reviews, However I find it necessary, To speak from the heart and review with a positive wide eyed approach. As a guest of this facility 4 years ago and now again. I'm here one more time going through rehab After surgery. The positive, outweighs any negative you might try to find, the people. Here are excellent from staff, To administration. All the way down to the people that help keep my room clean my bed clean and my spirits up! For this review I plan on talking about one experience at a time that, Way you get more of the hands on approach to the truth of what's going On around Here and not the bad reviews that I just Recently Read that actually make no sense to me, so off to physical therapy. And I'll get back to you later thank you, Dave.

Absolutely horrific care at this facility, nobody answers the phone and when they do they transfer you to another station and nobody answers that phone and then you get cut off repeatedly. It should be shut down. Our aunt whom has blood clots in her legs as the reason she it there and she is 96 and has not seen a single person the entire day today. Absolutely unacceptable that we cannot contact ANYONE at any of their phone numbers.

I recently stayed here back in April 2023 until the first part of May 2023.1 Month total. Recovering from a back surgery.
My experience with this facility was a good experience. I did have a couple of incidents but they took care of them right away. Laura Zulueta, Christina and Brian were right on top of it and corrected them n helped make my stay a pleasant one and as well as the rest of the staff. Nurses, Rita, Ray, Ricki, Alyssa, CNA's, Sheriff, Harsh, Daphnney, Saul, Omar just naming a few, Wound Nurse Myrta, Pt & OT and even the housekeeping made my stay a good experience. Thank you LASA for all you did in helping me in my recovery.

My stepdad was well taken care of in this facility. He spent 20 days in there being looked after and having daily sessions with physio and occupational therapists. The staff is extremely responsive but I want to single out Laura Zulueta. Laura went above and beyond by taking personal time to look after my and she took an initiative to update my on the daily basis in regards to my stepdads recovery. I am extremely grateful for the facility team effort that resulted in remarkable improvement in my dad's condition.

Horrible place. Never answer phone, no idea how my mom is, they simply don't answer the phone. How it that even possible not to answer a care phone? You don't even go to voicemail!

This is a very poor decision on Stanford to place their patients for care. This is a third world set up that under minds professional care and common courtesy. This place needs to be shut down simply because we are in America. We all deserve better. Period!
-rude nurses
-extreme temperatures
-horrible food
-horrible housekeeping
-overly crowded

This is my husband’s 4th stay at a rehab facility so we know how they function. We’re coming from Vallejo since no beds are nearby. My first disgust was there was no admissions team available to tell me (his wife) about how this place operates. When I asked the front office she was very agitated. I insisted on having something IN WRITING about the place. The case manager gave me a poor xerox copy Of some explanation.
The medical team included me in a conference call for an update, the second week of his stay. The Kaiser Dr. & Nurse were forthcoming with information. The case manager seemed ANNOYED WITH THE MANY QUESTIONS I HAD.
AT Discharge I found that the staff nurses had neglected to change the Nephrostomy bandage the entire 3 weeks my husband was there. Those instructions were included when he arrived there.
Now the CNA’s kept him clean & fed and the IV therapy was administered correctly.
This company needs to create a BETTER
INTAKE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
Thanks

**DO NOT BRING ANY IF YOUR LOVED INE HERE**
This place is horrible, mom is currently there for the past 4 days and everyday when I visit my mom is in tears. It takes forever for someone to attend on her, she's diabetic and there were a lot of instances where her blood sugar is dropping, she would push the button and it takes forever for someone to attend to her. There was one point that her sugar is already at 40's when someone finally came to her after pressing the call button repeatedly. There was one time that mom has that she had been calling for someone to clean her and it was only when lunch is being served when someone came, she asked to be changed and she was refused, when I talk to the nurse, I was given a straight lie that it is a state law that no one can be changed when there's fooe. There is no such law. And who would wanted to eat when you're sitting in your own filth? I also encountered a PT saying to a sleeping patient that they'll be doing their therapy early since niners game is started soon, being an adult sleeping the patient didn't want to do anything, and the PT just said, are you declining PT? Just say yes so I can get out of your hair". Therapy does not work that way. People send their lived one to rehab to regain straight, but with this filthy place and with horrible time frame before someone goes to you to help, instead of recovering this place would just make the patient worst.
