16They helped me and my family me only been the head of house hold.thank you for your kind words and help
Nothing but problems I had since I transfered my case to this office. First of all, they do anything possible to create problems, to turn off the cal Fresh. I just began getting emergency pandemic cal fresh now that the pandemic is over. It will turn off in a month or two. During the pandemic they actually turned off my cal Fresh. Alone with two kids, while many grown men living next to me were getting hundreds of dollars per month during the pandemic. This office needs to be examined by the federal governement or something.
I can't believe this office could only help you out from the crack of the front door it is so difficult to hear and understand those workers what there saying from such a tight little crack on the door I understand that they're consern about the public's Covid situation maybe they don't want to get sick themselves but there other ways to help out the public not shut them down and talk to them threw a lock door is really hard for people to hear them smh
I went there when I was homeless with my family. They help the most they can. Alot of people who visit dpss dont realize that's theres over 4 million people living in LA. So the caseload they have is overbearing. They help much faster then where I came from in my. Ny takes 45 days fo approves your case. Here in emergency its immediate help.
This place isn't that bad they get things done for me I just don't like the restroom always smelly and dirty
Where to start they can be helpful and quick but they can also be extremely difficult and stress someone out and mess everything up several times before you get someone who knows their job and can fix their mess up
I've been to other dpss offices, for some reason my impression of the staff at this office is that they're undertrained
Terrible office my worker maria Jauregui is such a pain to get a hold of she never answers her calls i have a call log with her of about 300 calls and shes only answered ONCE. I basically have to get other dpss employees to get a hold of her for me because that's how terrible she is with answerin.
I can never get a holder of a worker when I have question about my case. They do have friendly services though but it takes a while when you call for info.
This office might not look as much from the ouside, but the service is great and fast. Of course once in awhile you'll get people in there acting crazy.
Thank God for them and the programs they have. I wouldn't be eating if it wasn't for the food stamps program. They help you a lot and they make sure you can eat within 72 hours if you are not working and not having any resources. It is worth the wait. They will help you with general relief if you qualify, I don't and so they couldn't do anything about that but I found people very understanding and concerned professionals.
I did NOT like the communication. They left out appointment dates and important information that I needed to know. Very disappointed.
This place is a joke so are the people who work here, very rude wait and wait and wait some more
It doesn't matter your race it really just depends on the worker you get some are nice and some could use a sprinkle of positive energy. No matter where you go anytime your on general relief you will have to wait it long lines for hours. You don't like The outcome work on getting a job. I say that in the nicest way possible. Have a wonderful day to who ever reads this.
Not bad, there's AC, comfortable seats, and the workers are there to do a job that's not dependent on great customer service. The one consistent problem with this place is the lack of a parking lot or structure
