Very good flavours. The team isn't well trained yet so waiting time was quite long to be served but the atmosphere is nice and friendly.

This place Is horrible! Worst Carne asada burrito I've ever had. I went here Wednesday 8/23/2023. I originally tried to go to the sandwich shop next door. Unfortunately the sandwich shop was closed due to some construction. Being that I was limited on time I decided to go to Los Chavos next door. NEVER AGAIN! The meat in the burrito tasted old or spoiled. While I was waiting for my order I realized how dirty it was. It's looks like they don't even clean this place. I work just down the street and I've asked coworkers how it is. They all said don't go to Los Chavos it's gross. Well I found out for myself. I will never go back! The health department needs to visit this place for sure. It's disgusting. I'm surprised I didn't get sick from the burrito. I ate about 1/3 of the burrito and threw it in the trash!

Great place! Food is best, you can also custom order food combo's just by asking! The staff is very friendly & always will try to help you have a good experience & I always tip they are worth it!

This place is absolutely amazing! The potions not to mention the flavor! Check this spot out it’s worth ever penny! The customer service is great!

Best taco shop in El Cajon! My niece told me about it and damn, she was right! It's a wee bit more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. Be prepared to have leftovers or maybe split your order, especially the pollo asado chips - fantastic and enough for 2-3!

Great burritos and huge portions. My goto for California or Carne Asada burritos. Typically split one between 2 adults.

They NOT PROVIDE utensils for the food you buy, you have to ask and if you don't ask you EAT WITH YOU FINGERS!

A friend of mine came to visit. I hadn't seen my buddy in a long time. It was late at night and homie was hungry. To make a long story short, the carne asada is as tender and juicy as a pot roast. The California burrito was so big, that it completely filled the little white plate that they give you for takeout. The next day I had enough left to fill me up for lunch. The leftovers, I reheated them in my microwave and reheated the fries in my air fryer. Delicious. You have to eat whether you live in El Cajon or not. You got to try this place.

They stop paying you at 10 at night and they want you to stay for free until 12, giving two hours of work to these amazed Michoacans.never.miserable, worst experience of my life 7 years ago

First Time Visit req'd many questions but each was answered warmly and patiently. The fish burrito was excellent! I recommend this place but only for takeout and/or delivery since there is no public restroom or free water available. Bon Appétit!

Great TJ tacos and other dishes. The only spot that compares is over on Broadway in el cajon and I believe it's family related. Have eaten here along time and will continue to come back.

Worthwhile, has a standard menu but a solid breakfast burrito, I also like the cranitas. They are not open early guys, go to the job site first.

Delicious and enormous California burritos have us coming back time and again. Very fast and friendly. Super good beans too.

Dang good breakfast burritos. The nice lady at the counter recommended things and was spot on. Normally I don’t like red salsa but theirs is really good.
