Los Juniors Mariscos reviews
17 The service was definitely lacking. The food was good but definitely over priced.
The menu is difficult to read and I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.
The shrimp enchiladas, were very good and plenty of flavor, margaritas were good. Service was greet n friendly.
The waiter didn’t want to help us at first because we said we were a party of 10. In a bad attitude she put 3 tables and chairs together. The restaurant was also out of the food we wanted. Not a pleasant experience! To top it off; the bill was 380 including 20 % gratitude tip for bad service! We would have not minded the tip, if we got our money’s worth but to to pay 60-70 dollar for bad service is upsetting. First time eating here and I guarantee you that it’s the last time.
Went here to try a new place with a friend and have drinks after work. The location was very beautiful and clean. We loved all the drinks we tried. Special thank you to the amazing waitress that assisted us all evening. The place was not too busy mostly take out orders but we definitely enjoyed that. I think the weather may have had something to do with that. Overall we definitely enjoyed the location and will most definitely returning.
Dropped by for some lunch. Grabbed a quick carnitas burrito. Burrito was excellent. Great ingredients. Served hot and quickly. The interior was the real selling point. Lots of attention went into the decorations. This place looks like it rocks on the weekends. Can't wait to see Los Juniors on a Friday evening.
It was my birthday and hubby asked me where did I want to eat. I said los Juniors since we had gone in April for this our anniversary and it was great. Well not this time. Service was horrible, 1st we ordered the super michelada, the waitress brought us a chavela. I am a bartender and know the difference a d tell her so. She says ok takes it, pours it into the large michelada mug puts shrimp on it affsa beer and brings it back as a michelada although it still had no clamato mix in it. We ordered the calamari and for being a seafood restaurant we were sadly served premade calamari. Literally tasted like the box they came out of. I ordered the pulpo zarandeado which is supposed to be grilled octopus with some red sauce. I asked for the sauce on the side. I was served an octopus slathered in an orange sauce which tasted mostly like mayo. Needless to say we didn't eat or drink and had to drive back to San Jose on an empty stomach. Worst experience ever.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.
IM VISITING FR ARIZONA AND I LOVED THE SUPER TACO IT WAS FABULOUS!
The quesobirria tacos con consome is to die for! So delish…. I also got the asada taco on a corn tortilla. The tortilla was not good. Would not recommend. The micheladas are sooo good the only critique would be for them not to use the spicy takin or if they are using spicy Clamato, if given the option I would ask for them to use the regular Clamato and tajin.
The best food I've tasted since I moved here to Gilroy. So I'm giving them a 5 stars
If it'll taste great or mediocre depends on the day and time you go. Maybe even on who is cooking that day. I've been here around 5 or 6 times and half of the times the food was delicious and savory. The other half it was meh. As well as their alcoholic drinks. Last time I was there everything was delicious including my drink. I recommend drinking EL BESO DEL DIABLO.
Also, weekends seem to be when the food is better. They have karaoke on Friday's I believe.
Terrible service and extremely filthy environment! I highly recommend that you do NOT waste your time even considering this restaurant.
Stopped by on a Thursday, we were standing around for 10min before the server came and sat us. Ordered our drinks and my husband ordered a Paloma which took 15min to get. Mind you the other 2 tables and already eaten and were just chatting. I think the servers boyfriend must come in cuz from then on he and his friends had her full attention. She really didn't know the menu, 2 dishes we ordered were no longer available. I got my food 20min after everyone else. Food was meh, service was trash and HEADS UP the prices are higher if you don't pay cash ranging from $1-2 increase nowhere on the the menu does it let you know. Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately we won't be coming back
This place has some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. The shrimp tacos were divine, the garlic shrimp was really good and the Asada was delicious too. The mango margaritas are super large and delicious, not too sweet. The staff was very polite and helpful. If we needed anything, they were right there to deliver it. We will be back for sure.
Lots of sea food dishes & others. Daughter had enchiladas siuzas & she liked it. I ordered Camarones al mojo de hajo. Shrimp was small & not very tasty.
This place it's Soo good I couldn't wait to tell my friends all about it the food was tasty not overcooked the atmosphere was great cute Queen Frida cala style. Our waitress was so nice and so proficient drinks were excellent I can rave enough I passed this place many times and never stop last night we did and it was worth every penny I will give this place 10 Stars
Weekend seafood is fresh, a little pricey for qty.wasn’t a fan of the actual tostadas they use. The toppings were good.
The Best drinks such a relaxing restaurant to go to on any occasion I loved it here totally recommend & I will definitely come back
