Lotus Garden Restaurant reviews
16Just discovered this place recently and the food is amazing as well as the service. The Pork Pekang and Calmari is delicious! Def check it out!
The service was amazing. The food was great and we didn't have to wait long for our orders. Nothing was overcooked and the meat was tender. I highly recommend the lobster with the house sauce. It was so tasty. Parking is not too bad, but of you on the evening be wary of patrons around the area, it can get full fast.
Came here one fine evening on a quest for yummy num-nums. I tried the Chow Mein (beef) and it was quite delicious. The wonton soup was good but needed more spice but that’s just me. Overall the view of the place was nice inside with all the lights and set the decor for the evening quite beautifully. However, I don’t know if this is permanent but the restaurant only wants customers to enter through the back. Through the roof, alley, or even a fire escape. I’ll enter from anywhere to enjoy great food. -Good luck my fellow foodies
Awful. I ordered the fried rice and it was so bad. Rice was undercooked and there were bones in my chicken which was so bland anyways
Had lobster tonight and it was excellent. They cook it with spices and noodles. Much better than plain boiled lobster that you usually get at other restaurants.
The lobster was fresh and delicious. My over all experience was a great one everyone was professional and nice.
Stingy. I asked three times for soy sauce for my rice
The waitress tried to fool me by saying that another condiment was soy sauce.
She finally brought me one measly one portion packet for my rice.thalk about being stingy and dishonest.
This place is amazing. Real hidden gem, but everything we got was 10/10. Good service, and reasonable prices too!
The service was great and the food was really good I thought the beef and broccoli was the best
Online ordering doesn't work.the restaurant will call you back & ask what you ordered, so it's better to just call your order in. Staff is very friendly. Everything we ordered was excellent! My favorites were the BBQ pork fried rice, mongolian beef, and fresh orange juice. Others in my group liked the walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, & Thai iced tea. We'll definitely return!
We found this place by Google Search, after we arrived, the waitress was in a such bad mood, she didn't greet us, just pointed a table, then we were waiting for her to come by and place order. After awhile, she was still cleaning the floor, so I called out to her, and she replied: just a minute, let me finish.
We waited a little bit longer, once she came, I point on the menu and said to her: I would like to have # 30, #39, before I could tell her the last oder I want, she stops me and says: don't tell me the number, give me the name of the dish you want. Till that point, I was already shocked, and it gets better. Then I read the name of that dish, she said to me: we don't have that!
So we left the restaurant without getting a glass of water.
This tells me that not to trust the reviews online completely.
After a long hot day I was craving something with noodles but also wanted a refreshing salad. The glass noodle salad was PERFECT, I hadn't thought I was that hungry but I quickly finished the entire plate. I also had some of my friend's tea leaf salad and it was very good too, on par with Lotus Garden if not better. I also tried a little of the pad see ew and fried rice my friends got, and it was all really good except my friend who ordered the pad see ew extra spicy, didn't think it was spicy enough & I'll have to agree since I was able to eat it with no problem, I have a low tolerance for spice!:)
Really wanted this place to be a go to place. Food is good. Very traditional Vietnamese.
But Wed 1pm we were at the tail end of the lunch rush.
Woman mostly tolerated us and responded to our thank yous with uh-huh.
Portions are small. Making it pricey. No water refills, no attention at all.
I think regulars are treated well. May she didnt like us Asians.
Not returning.
I wanted some soup yesterday from the Chinese restaurant that wasn't fattening, so Iwent buy some soups from here. Egg drop soup, hot & spicy soup, & wontong soup & they were all delicious and served with a pleasant service. The patrons of the restaurant are very kind and friendly. Good place to go for good Chinese foods.
The food was great. We ordered the salt & pepper calamari and salt & pepper pork chop plus honey walnut shrimp and they're delicious.
I've read other reviews that mentioned about a rude waitress.
I never saw any rude waitress during our dine in. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We enjoy hanging out. Last night we went to this excellent place which we didn’t know before. We spent a lovely time there with delicious meal and a professional crew and a talented cuisine. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we shall certainly go again soon. We highly recommend.
