I had such a great experience here and am so happy I found my dress here! I felt so comfortable and confident during my appointments compared to other shops I went to. They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and body positive here. Absolutely would recommend!

I don't typically write negative reviews, but I feel like I owe it to other brides out there to shed some light on my experience at Love & Lace, which wasn't as fun or festive as my experiences at other bridal boutiques.

The stylist who helped me (Lex) was very friendly, and she understood my vision of what I was looking for in a wedding dress. I have nothing bad to say about her, but overall I did not have a great experience at Love & Lace compared to other stores in the area. This was due to store policies and general management.

At Love & Lace, you're required to pay a $40 fee for an appointment. This seemed crazy to me as I wasn't expecting to pay to have the privilege of spending thousands on a dress, but I guess this is starting to become a common thing. Note that this fee is credited towards your dress if you buy, but if you decide to go elsewhere, that money is lost. What was especially frustrating with this fee was that this shop has a pretty small selection of wedding dresses compared to other stores I visited (and those shops did not have a fee). Love & Lace also has a strict "no browsing policy, " which I found odd, because at other stores I enjoyed the fact that I could walk around and look at the beautiful gowns, and perhaps pick something off the rack I hadn't expected to like. If you're going to pay $40 to spend an hour in a store, I think they should add some value to your appointment! No drinks were offered here (not even water), whereas at other stores they gave complimentary soft drinks and sparkling wine.

Regardless, Love & Lace has some nice dresses, and one dress they carry made the top three of wedding dresses I loved. I was strongly considering it. My appointment was in early December and my wedding will be mid June (6 month timeline). At Love & Lace they estimate that their dresses will be ready in 6-8 months, but before my appointment they told me it would be possible to do a rush order from the designer, and it might be possible to buy a sample from the floor. I really loved one of the dresses, but after a few days of trying on a lot of dresses, I said I needed to sleep on it before deciding. They said I had to decide right then and there, during my appointment, or I wouldn't be able to buy the dress. This seemed crazy to me – if you're going to pay extra to do a rush order, surely there's not much difference between ordering on a Friday night vs.a Saturday morning? This just felt like a pressure tactic from the store, like a sales trick to try to get me to buy immediately. I didn't let the pressure get to me, in fact, it helped me decide to let this dress go as there were just too many hoops to jump through to get it. They said selling a sample wasn't an option. I asked if they could tell me what size I would be in the gown, but they said they didn't know what size I tried on. If you're not going to sell the dress to me, surely you could at least tell me the size of the dress I should order? Maybe I could find the dress on a resale site? For $40 you could at least tell me my size!

Other stores nearby had no issues selling samples, getting rush orders, etc.in my wedding timeline, so in the end Love & Lace lost my business. I don't think a big decision like your wedding dress should feel pressured or rushed, so I just wanted to share my experience so others could learn from it. Ultimately, my mom and sister felt like the store was playing games, and that's not how you want to feel when making such an emotional decision. And it wasn't just me – my mom heard a different stylist telling another bride that she had to purchase the dress that night (Friday) even though she couldn't get money from her bank until Tuesday.

I had great experiences at Anthropologie, Styled by TC, and Mary Me Bridal (none of which charge appointment fees). With the exception of Anthro, these stores had thousands of dresses in stock to try, a much bigger selection. These stores allowed browsing and applied zero pressure – I would recommend them instead.

Cannot recommend Love and Lace enough! From the minute I walked in for my first appointment I was blown away. They are all so knowledgeable about the dresses and made me feel extremely comfortable and confident. I bought my dress November 2022 and just picked it up mid October and it was even more beautiful than I remembered. Lex helped me pick the perfect veil to match it and was so attentive the entire time. I cannot wait to wear my dress in June for my wedding and cannot thank Love and Lace enough for making this process so enjoyable!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place. I worked with Grace and she was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. Trying on dresses as a plus size woman can be very stressful but Grace was very professional and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Love and Lace Bridal to others.

The staff was incredibly kind. The dresses however seemed less than spectacular. The quality was not worth the price tag.

My bridal appointment was a dream, exactly how I wanted to feel trying on dresses. Ashlynn (?), my stylist, was charming, helpful, and so supportive and kind. I felt instantly that she was like a gal pal giving me gentle nudges and honest feedback. She asked thoughtful questions, seemed genuinely interested in my love story and wedding details, was super engaged, while matching my subdued energy and staying focused on me and my experience. We started with a body-positive aphorism, which felt a little cheesy in the moment, but honestly set the tone in a really beautiful way, reminding me to accept my body as it is and that the right dress is the one that flatters me and makes me FEEL good. She was SO supportive and kind without being pushy or trying to oversell me on a dress. She was willing to show me more dresses when I asked for more options, with ALL the patience in the world, and offered to let me re-try any favorites as much as I needed. I trusted her expertise - when I tried on my last dress, we both felt something special and I got that bridal ‘glow’. She was quietly convinced it was the one, and I trusted that she was right, but wasn’t quite ready to commit, since it was my first appointment and felt too good to be true (again, she was super supportive on this, too). I’m going back tomorrow to pull the trigger on my dream dress, after cancelling appointments at three other salons and one sleepless night obsessing about the dress (Made with Love Remi dress, for those curious!).

The selection appears small when you walk in, but not a single dress was without impeccable good taste - it’s a small collection BECAUSE it’s well curated. This helped cut down the sense of overwhelm and brain fog that I felt at other salons with more selection. The stock does have a particular point of view, so look at their inventory on their site before you make an appointment.

I am writing to give a glowing 5-star review for Love and Lace Bridal. I had the pleasure of working with Alli, who was my bridal stylist, and she was absolutely incredible. She was so helpful and patient, and she really took the time to understand my style and what I was looking for in a wedding dress. She pulled a variety of dresses for me to try on, and she was always there to offer her opinion and advice. I felt so comfortable and confident working with her, and I knew that I could trust her to help me find the perfect dress.

In the end, I found the wedding dress of my dreams at Love and Lace Bridal. It was a crepe gown with a fitted bodice. I absolutely loved it and felt a sense of calm when I put it on. I knew that it was the dress for me. I am so grateful to Alli for her help in finding the perfect dress. She made the whole experience so special, and I would highly recommend Love and Lace Bridal to any bride who is looking for her dream dress.

LEX. IS. THE. QUEEN. - I went into this bridal appointment fully prepared to wear a black dress to my wedding because everything I tried on up to this point made me feel uncomfortable and wrong. If you're reading this, I'm sure you know the feeling. I found Love and Lace on TikTok and figured I would give it a shot. They sent a helpful questionnaire, which was essential for my appointment. Lex pulled four dresses for me-three that I had expressed an interest in and one she thought I might like. When we got to the final dress, again Lex's choice, I was speechless (and I'm a big talker). She told me I'd get a feeling, which I definitely didn't believe, but here I am to tell the tale. Since then, I've texted photos to my bridesmaids, mom, and my fiancé's mother, and they've all agreed it's perfect for me. If you're a non-traditional bride, this is the place for you, and I HIGHLY recommend making an appointment with Lex.

My stylist at Love and Lace was Lex and I cannot recommend her enough. She was so lovely and helpful, it felt like I was trying on wedding dresses with a friend. They have a beautiful selection of gowns as well, I am so excited about the dress that I got!

I purchased my wedding dress here in in Spring 2022 for a May 2023 wedding. Gabrielle took in all of my notes and provided me and my family with the best experience for wedding dress shopping. I knew I wanted something minimalist, classic, yet modern. She allowed me to try on different silhouettes and advised on the best veil pairing. Later, Ashley worked with me via email when I changed my mind to add buttons along the back of my dress.

This boutique is such a frustration. You are expected to pay an exploration fee before you arrive and you are not even allowed to explore the store.ironic. I mean what is the logic?
I have explored even Galia styles in different boutiques but this store associates say that ‘we have a strict no browse policy’. They think they are so special but there is nothing at all…
They expect you visit the store 1 year before your wedding date, with a 3 months alteration time. They think they are very professional with this estimated deliveries.

I found Love and Lace because they carried a specific dress and designer that I wanted to try (and ended up buying!). They made the experience really caring, especially for a plus size person. They took care of every detail, answered all of my stupid questions with love and listened to my notes and desires. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was fun and the whole team were so friendly! Maggie was wonderful and helped me find the perfect dress! I honestly couldn't recommend Love and Lace enough, they have stunning dresses and a team that makes you feel special, what more could you ask for!

I cannot say enough great things about Love and Lace! I came to my appointment solo and my stylist, Lex, instantly felt like a friend and guide! She took great photos of the dresses I tried on! I was pretty nervous as a plus size bride as I have had less than ideal experiences at other salons but Lex made me feel so comfortable and I found a dress that I feel so beautiful in! The selection of dresses was amazing! There were so many unique and fashion forward dresses I haven’t been able to see in my size elsewhere. I highly recommend coming here no matter what your size!
