Love Birds Coffee & Tea Co reviews
20Professional and fast customer service. So happy they moved and have drive thru now! Amazing breakfast sandwiches with delicious croissants
Really nice, cozy place. People had told me that access is difficult, but not so much. Everywhere in P'ville is funky to get in and out of. Drinks are very good-I'm talking about mochas-and very strong. It's a small place, but well-arranged, with places for individuals and large groups. Bathroom is easy to find and quite large.
The staff is friendly and efficient. Sometimes when you're in a place that's new to you, the staff acts like it's a bar or something-like an exclusive club. Just cheerful professionalism here. Super clean as well.
The decor is interesting, with a lot of trendy alternating solid colors, but kind of lacks a theme: how does a wall-sized Venetian scene, and other Italian touches (checkered tablecloths), fit with the Love Birds name? The wall that encloses the counter has a cute couple of birds drawn next to the name- maybe it would be cool if that motif were repeated elsewhere.
That's no big thing. The only real gripe is that they're only open until 2: 00. Anyway, I'll be back, that's for sure. Highly recommended.
Always great service with a friendly smile for myself or my sister Rene. Did I mention the yummy good selections? Oh yes they do. Love Love Birds!
Beautiful environment. Not to loud. Never to busy to sit and enjoy a coffee/tea. Coffee is fabulous and tea is so real and so fantastic. Thanks @lovebirdscoffee&tea
This last week was our first visit to Love Birds Coffee &Tea. We purchased a pumpkin latte, and we have to say theirs is better than Starbucks (we are coffee roasters). Their prices were a little bit high, but it's still worth the visit. It's a quaint little place. We will be stopping by again as we pick up more apples and pears from Larsen's Apple Barn.
Due to the power outtage I ventured out of my comfort zone and went to this little spot. Awesome service, dirty Chai was amazing. I also ordered a burrito which was good. The hot sauce that came with it was really good and spicy!
Had the wonderful pleasure of enjoying a nice cup of coffee today and I think I have found my new everyday. In a day and age where nobody has time for anyone anymore I met the owner today and he had such a pleasant and welcoming personality. Went in there because of there support for the community and of the fallen officer but gained a new coffee spot fresh pastries and great coffee. Thank you so much for such a welcoming experience.
The baristas are quick and extremely friendly
Also most importantly the coffee is AMAZING better than Starbucks imo!
Awesome little coffee shop, the cold brew was tasty and the service qas great. Wish we had somewhere like this in carson city.
This shop is so cute. The staff is incredibly sweet, and their cold brew is to die for! This is the first specialty coffee shop I’ve been to in the area, and I’m absolutely so impressed.
I made the best hot chocolate for me this morning oh so delicious I think they use Ghirardelli chocolate. It's hard to have a favorite there when everything is so good. My usual drink is decaf ristretto Americano
Adorably cute place and gracious service. They replaced my daughter's drink when she didn't like what she ordered. They make a DELICIOUS London Fog! Definitely will stop here again while in Placerville.
We were heading back from Tahoe to San Jose and we left at 5am to beat the traffic. Mid way we wanted to eat and have some coffee and nothing was coming in the road path. Bout 50 miles later from Tahoe we saw a sign for food and gas and took the exit. I went right at the traffic light and I looked left before turning and randomly saw love birds Cafe on the left side and decided to give it a try bc it was right across the st instead of driving more to find something traditional like a Starbucks or dunkin and I'm so glad I went left. Entering in the atmosphere was traditional like the 1950s and a very welcoming family style atmosphere. The young man working that morning was very pleasant and welcoming and he was very courteous to know where we were from and how our travels were.we just had a small coffee and 2 muffins but even those were great as it was all freshly made unlike chain foods. After leaving. My mom had further medicine to take a few hrs later and needed to eat fruit beforehand to take it. She went back in to have the fruit cut and the employee there. Not sure if the owner. But he did so without questions and was quite helpful to us as travelers.
For those reading this and seeking a breakfast place with a great atmosphere and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place.give the local places a try before going for the usual major chains. These places deserve it.
Nice little coffee shop with nice ambience. Met the owner, has a pleasant and friendly attitude as an owner should be. Him and his wife bake the goodies for special touch for the customers. Tried the Strawberry Fraffe. Delicious, not too sweet. Will continue to go back and have a nice cup of coffee next time.
Amazing local family owned business! Incredibly kind staff always makes sure you feel at home, even if you’re just picking up a drink to go. Pastries are all home made and absolutely to die for. Highly recommend Love Birds over Starbucks. Better coffee, better people and warmer environment.
This is the best coffee i have ever enjoyed the beautiful settings its in is amazing u can sit enjoy looking at the beautiful paitings on the walk to buy some t- shirts or just sit and enjoy coffe or tea or if your Hot grab a Mocha
This place is great every time. They make their own pastries including bagels! Their cold brew is on point. I went in with 30 minutes left until close and I was almost done with my work project and their Barista was nice enough to let me finish after they were closed. Such a great local spot. Couldn't have better things to say.
I'm a local, and this is my go-to coffee shop. I normally get a breakfast sandwich and an espresso drink, and I've had most of their pastries.make sure you get the rewards stamp card at your first visit, because you will be back! ;)
Great cute location. Yummy coffee with homemade desserts and breakfast pastries that are beyond delicious!
Oh damn, they make a good mocha!
And a six shot Americano for when you need to stay up for 24 hours.
