Love the atmosphere! Food and tea were delicious and if you can convince your husband to join you he most likely won’t be the only make in there

Wow, LoveJoy Tea really knows how to throw a fancy pants tea party! I recently had the pleasure of indulging in their Queen's Tea and let me tell you, it was a royal treat. Not only was the tea selection charming, but the food was absolutely scrumptious. I'm talking dainty sandwiches and delectable desserts galore.

But the real standout was the atmosphere. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, it really added to the overall experience. I left feeling pampered and rejuvenated. If you're in the mood for a spot of tea and some lighthearted fun, I highly recommend LoveJoy Tea. It's a charming spot that's not to be missed.

Had an amazing time. It was rainy day and ours was an outdoor reservation. However the outdoor space is entirely covered from wind and rain and it extremely cozy. In fact it was amazing sitting under a transparent roof while it’s raining and having hot pots of teas with my friends! And the service is amazing too, from the reservation to the food service they’re extremely accommodating. Loved it!

The best scones, and even sitting outside was pleasant. It's definitely worth a visit, though don't be like me. Make a reservation if you can.

Be sweet to yourself and enjoy the Queens high tea with friends. Kind and very knowledgable staff answered all our queries. I dream to think Her Majesty would've been very proud and enjoyed all.

Let's start with Atmosphere: We made a reservation a couple of months early to ensure good seating and availability while my mother in law was visiting for my daughter's 17th birthday. We were seated at a table on the sidewalk out front. The parklet looked charming, as did the interior space. However, a group of women declined the little table on the sidewalk and got the last one in the parklet. This was frustrating, but we accepted the last table as it was also over an hour drive for us to get there and didn't want to wait. Maybe that piece is our own fault.

It was cold, and we had good jackets, so we were shaking off the dismay of a preferred table going to a group of other customers. As we settled and calmed, our server was polite, attentive, and clearly cared about us. This was difficult for us given the circumstances. Eventually, a bus came and sat at the street corner, filling the air with the aroma of diesel exhaust. It was a little too much now. Just 30 feet away was the parklet, not positioned for the diesel aroma that we had overpowering our senses. The only table that would have been worse than ours was a set for two, which teetered along the edge of the curb even closer to vehicle exhaust.

Given the stop sign at the corner and observed traffic flow, it doesn't make sense to me to have these two tables. In my opinion, the two sidewalk tables should go away.

For all of the planning and research my wife did to bring the four of us to this afternoon event, it was disheartening, to say the least. We will not make an effort to go back.

If you go, avoid sidewalk seating. The charm and flavor is smothered by vehicle fumes.

I’d heard great things about this place and it was even better than I could have expected. Excellent food and tea, lovely people, and a fun cozy atmosphere.

This had been on our SF bucket list for a long time and finally went there over the winter holidays a few years ago with my wife and 3 year-old.

It was worth the wait.

When you walk in, it feels like British tea culture got sprayed all over the walls. You can't really avoid seeing some memorabilia no matter where you look, and it's pretty over the top awesome.

They have an elaborate but not overwhelming menu of different combinations with various teas, savory finger sandwiches (with the crust cut off of course), pastries, fruit and everything else you can imagine for tea time.

They even had an adorable "Wee Tea" for the little ones, and my daughter enjoyed some hot chocolate with whipped cream as her "tea'" with some tasty cream cheese sandwiches, strawberries and pastries.

Service was terrific, lovely people there.

Definitely recommended, put it on your bucket list.

Somehow I’ve discovered high tea in San Francisco and this is my third and favorite stop. The staff was most attentive, the sandwich and tea menu so varied. The food quality was fresh and it was delivered quick. Oh and did I say, the person who took our last minute reservation was so accommodating. Stop by for a fun afternoon. Easy to find street parking in Bernal Heights.

Beautifully decorated with nik naks and bobbles in all the corners. The choice of tea's was fairly large and everything we tasted was delicious. There were 7 people in our group so we received 7 tea's services which meant 7 different tea's to try. I didn't get to all of them, but I did get to the Vanilla Lavender and the house blend which was a black tea, and both were worth me buying some loose leaves from theirlittle shop across the street, LovejoysAttic. I had ordered the Lapsang Souchong and enjoyed that very much. The sandwiches servings were smaller than many other tea houses I've been to. And there was only one dessert item included in the meal, less than most other tea shops I've been too also. There is no lot for parking, just street parking which is hard to get close by.

My husband and I got the queens tea service. Everything was delicious and fresh. I enjoyed it all but the scone with the cream and preserves that came with it were outstanding. I enjoyed the ambiance and decor as well. We had a lovely time! Would definitely go back.

Had a lovely high tea experience with my friends here. We were lucky to reach around opening time on a Saturday and get a walk-in table, because the tables fill up pretty quick.
The selection of finger sandwiches and tea is excellent. We opted for Queen’s tea package, with two sandwiches of our choice and bottomless pot of tea. Black currant tea tasted great and our favorite was the cucumber and tea finger sandwich.
Desserts in the end were nice too.
