Love's Travel Stop, Barstow CA

We stopped for gas and some quick food and coffee. Each employee greated us, the restrooms were extremely clean. They were out of Vanilla creamer so they went to the back to get more. So friendly! Definitely the best Travel stop I have been to!

Staff was overall nice, but the guy working the sub shop, nice but took way to long for it to be acceptable. There is 0 reason it takes 25 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. He just had something to say about everything and wasn't being productive. I am all for making customers have a good time and feeling welcome. But there definitely is a line between making a customer feel welcome and being highly unproductive. You know its bad when you notice a sandwich being made wrong but don't say anything because it will add another 5 minutes to the stop. Absolutely ridiculous taking that long.

The guy on the phone said no waiting time for tire repair Bring it over. We got there in 10min and they said 4 hours wait time. That’s not OK

The best Loves I have been to. Mike has a great crew that are friendly and attentive. They take pride in their store, shop, restaurants and facility as a whole. Stays clean and welcoming. The only place I go now for oil and routine maintenance. I appreciate y’all and I know others do as well if they don’t publish it cause I talk to other drivers who feel the same. Thanks for making my lifestyle easier.

Employees pretend the problems are new when the repairs that are needed have been this way for weeks.
THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO GO FOR SERVICES

I usually stop here once a month to get gas, coffee and some beef jerky. This place went down hill fast. Last 5 times I came here they always run out out items. Like no half & half creamer. Today was even worse, not only they have no half and half again, the bathrooms were all closed. Don’t even bother coming here. Go to Terribles across the street.

Two times I’ve had excessive wait times to change a blown out tire.
First time was many months ago with a road call where the tech showed up after about 3 hours when I was about 5 miles away. He let me know that he forgot tools and had to leave and come back.
Tonight I’ve been waiting for the tech to just get started. Called ahead to let them know I had a blowout, but the road call gave me a 3 hour ETA just to arrive.
Therefore, I agreed to drive the truck into the shop on the flat. Upon arriving, 45 minutes after the initial call the tech just informs me he’s leaving for another 45 so he could take lunch. After another hour or so, he shows up with a cheeseburger and says he’s gotta type my stuff in the computer for couple minutes before he gets started.
30 minutes later he’s looking for someone else’s tires who just showed up. Lord help me.
Tire change is typically a 30 minute job at other shops, but I’m at 2 1/2 hours and counting right now.
The service is a joke here.

Bathrooms were a mess the ground was really bad outside around the fuel pumps and needed washed. The young lady who waited on me named Sarah was exceptionally nice even though we had problems with the printing of the fuel ticket she was able to help me get it

It's a Love's so it's not horrible. However, for a Love's, this place has a lot of deferred maintenance.

Below par for a Love's but still better than most.

A standard Love's Travel Stop with clean restrooms and easy in-and-out access for most vehicles and competitive prices on all types of fuel. Leaving the Hotel California (on the dark desert highway) a while ago, a lovely way to begin the journey home to the San Francisco Bay Area.

7 people in line. Workers sitting around talking until one decides FINALLY, after 15 minutes of there being 4 empty showers to finally decide to go clean. A lot of is are on electronic logs. A little consideration for your costumers that spend hundreds of dollars a day at your locations on fuel and extras you think wouldn't be too much to ask

This is one of my usual stops. The staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always stocked. The bathrooms are always clean.

Flying J in the past. You have diesel #2 fuel and please stay with it. Also enjoy your great selection of "food to go" on a trip.

We stop here every time we pass through. Great bathrooms, fresh food, great parking and souvenirs.

Showers and Restrooms are clean, the Coffee is all the time Fresh and Hot, employees well trained. Stop by next time

Went in and was surprised by the cleanliness for such a busy Loves. If you are in a bad mood go in and talk to Fletcher. He has a never-ending stream of optomism and smiles. You wont leave this place mad. Thx Loves

Stopped off here as we were travelling from Las Vegas to Los Angeles. Good selection of food and beverages. Nice selection of gifts and all reasonably priced. Restrooms clean and tidy.

Very clean but im so tired off being harassed for money at fuel pumps and entrance to facility and people knocking on doors asking for money its not just one person there's several im there once a week bout to start going to TA atleast they have police patrolling it

Overall this would have been a good experience.clean restrooms.front desk staff was friendly.but a few minutes into our shower it went downhill. I was singing. I wasn't being loud or obnoxious and someone (I suspect the cleaning staff since no one else was present in the showers) nearly beat the door down.breaking the deadbolt lock in the process! I couldn't believe it. Not a word was spoken.not a hey keep it down.just a violent shaking of the door resulting in a broken lock. Considering how much money we spend here as diamond level I kinda expect a little more respect. And it really shouldn't be so much to ask for to sing a little in the shower I mean really -_-
