Easy, pleasant, and serene. Simple and effective. Everything we need and want nature to be. Great for kids, nice tire swing to find. But always be alert for pitfalls. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch for, that being said, a message to the Father's of the world. Protect your own. I'm rooting for ya, we're all in this together!

The valleys and streams are beautiful, the roads in the mountains are relatively gentle, and the view from the top of the mountain is wide

Be prepared for bugs this time of year, spray your pets for ticks before and after the hike and spray yourself (make sure what is used on pets is for pets) there's a tire swing down the trail after awhile and it does go pretty deep but it's worth it and absolutely beautiful. There's a bend where you can park. To hike go up the main road along the rail and the entrance is at the end of the rail/ before next parking bend

Lower Monroe Truck Trail, is a good biggeners trail and it's friendly for kids. The only down side is there is limited parking, but there is also not too many people, it's quiet and it's scenic. Good for exploring and great for photography.

It was a warm day but we went early that morning. We enjoyed the sun and the fresh air very much. There were times we felt the breeze and the water sound of the little stream. There are about 7-8 water crossings and everyone just loved the fun of them.

Feb 26th 2023. First sign of snow top of Punk Out. Snow got more intense as we hiked to GMR. Was Incredible!

I came to walk and see here, the place was very cold, but I could hear a small river because of so much rain. Walk a little path and come to some paths with very green trees and small rivers.
