Love love love this little Italian place! I have loved every meal. Meatballs are the bomb! Pasta is fresh and cooked perfect! It’s a jewel, this place!

Went here for a date night and it was a great, I really enjoyed the feel of the place and there was some nice jazz/classical music playing while we ate. I ordered the chicken paramsean which was cooked very nicely and had a great sauce. I would order different noodles next time, but I was just trying something new. The garlic bread came out hot and was very seasoned and tasty, my gf got the Risotto alla Pescatora which was a special for the day and she loved it "5/5". Will definitely come back here next time I want Italian, and I reccomend for a cute date night.

Food was good and a good size for one. Everything was fresh. You can enjoy your meal with light Italian (and some English) music. They have limited seats and not much room to wait inside.

The food was great. The service was not great. It was freezing in there, as well, and there was a heater over the door but it was not running even though the room was full of patrons. They seemed to be so busy fulfilling take out orders that it took 45 minutes for the waiter to come to our table to take away the dishes from the last customers who sat at our table and take our drink order. It might not be bad if they served drinks or something but it was a cold wait with no acknowledgement from the staff. We had to stand up and wait in line with the take out delivery people to call attention to our table. No drinks came, not even water. The waiter seemed very inexperienced and it seemed like he was the only one working on Valentine’s Day. He took our order and we waited another 45 minutes for the food, which arrived half warm. The potatoes were cold but the chicken was fresh and warm. The chicken piccata and eggplant parmigiana were perfect aside from the cold potatoes. Sauces were great. Our waters arrived after our meal arrived, the appetizer never arrived so we tried ordering it again to eat with our meal. The appetizer salad arrived and it was quite big, but not very well dressed. It was a generous portion of arugula with some vinegar, beets, nuts and cheese but not quite enough oil to balance the acidity off the leaves.
A new server arrived who served our meals and she was much better. Quick and friendly. Overall I enjoyed the food but was surprised by the service.

Why is it so hard to get good Italian food in the East Bay? Ordered takeout and it was a mistake. They just plain forgot to put one of the items in the bag, the other two were extremely mediocre. Then they put a absurd amount of dressing on the caesar salad. Who dresses a takeout salad in the first place? It was soggy and gross by the time it got to us. Do yourself a favor and order elsewhere.

Bad service all the way around food had no flavor I asked my waiter for some bread. He brought a right when I asked him for the check I order a lasagna lasagna was in soup like I said no flavor I want it recommend this place to anybody that comes to the area

Such a lovely neighborhood restaurant! Everything on the menu is excellent, and the service is wonderful!

"Atmosphere": a little underpolished and hole-in-the-wall-ish, but VERY welcoming.

EXACTLY the kind of place you might expect to find astonishingly good food. Their pastas are cooked to perfection, and their sauces are as rich and subtle as any I've ever had in Italy.

You'll feel an urge to keep this place as your own special secret, only to be shared with close friends.

Amazing food, service, and atmosphere. Here on vacation and my partner and I must return! 3 courses without drinks for 75 for 2 people. Great value and I can not speak more highly!

Great service and pretty good meal! I really liked the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. No alcohol at the moment.
