Please SAVE your child and your family by not going to doctor Monica Grover. We had the very unfortunate experience to go to her. She MISDIAGNOSED us, even after our many multiple attempts to tell her about the case. She ashamed us, NEVER listened to us and never took our case seriously.
If you don't want to end with serious lifetime consequences, save your family and loved one from very serious consequences, look for a knowledgeable, and less arrogant medical provider.

Had the worst experience ever today ruin whole day never have I felt discriminated against @ this hospital like I did today i come here often my youngest son has a heart condition his team is here and both sons were born here. Staff at check in desk let multiple people with more then one kid in. But me and my son where not allowed in.not even to wait in the waiting area I asked to speak to management they told me to wait in my car in the parking garage with my 5 year old. In a carbon monoxide filled garage, while wife stayed with other son for his appointment even though I told her I just drove 2 and a half hours to get there and my back was already aching not there problem. Not even let my son play in outside play area So I left took my son to a local park then costco to kill time returned hours later and went up to use restroom which they said was OK. When got done using rest room 3 security guards were hassling my wife about my where abouts and that my son needed to leave he couldn't be in there. When I left the 1st time they told me only 2 visitors per patient.so I said ok my son is OK to stay with his mother in waiting area they told me he couldn't stay with his mother in waiting area to wait for his little brother to be done. What happened to 2 visitors per patient? Obviously if your skin is brown u get treated differently. The youngest security guard that worked there today was high on drugs they really need to give him a drug test. This used to be a really good hospital but has been going downhill

This is a review of my experience in L&D and Postpartum Recovery.

My experience start to finish was fantastic, definitely beyond my expectations. Every one of my nurses were so kind and personable. They advocated to my doctors on my behalf which was so empowering, they met my needs as closely as possible.

To shout out a few names of my awesome nurses: Shirley, Cara, Erika, Lea from L&D and Kaitlyn, Hannah, Danielle, and nurse's assistant Morgan from Postpartum Recovery.

Most of my doctors were from PAMF obgyn, but the anesthesiologists I met were really great.

The rooms are pretty comfortable all things considered, and the food is decent. The omelettes are the best thing on the menu.

My expectation was honestly very poor. I thought the staff would be against me, and that I may even need a doula to advocate for me, but that was not the case. It was an all around supportive environment and I'm so grateful for everyone involved. I would 100% have my next baby there.

For my son who needs flu vaccine, TB booster and physical ASAP, they can ONLY schedule something for him in 8 MONTHS from now! Whaaat!? What happened to them!? I'm shocked, mad and disappointed!

I just have to thank the entire team at the Stanford Lucille Packard Hospital, I had my daughter in September 2022, and since I arrived at the place with pain from the contractions I was well taken care of, all the nurses were always monitoring and checking if I was feeling comfortable, so I went to the delivery room, there were some complications with my baby hours before she was born, and the team was very professional to save her, after my daughter was born she received all the care, I even had help from a Brazilian doctor from my nationality to guide me and make me feel more welcome in the hospital, I am grateful and blessed for each person who took care of me and my baby

Some of the medical staff in the facility put mental pressure caused by their discrimination feelings and contributed toward malpractice by the pediatrician performing surgery on our son.

We had an awful experience when we visited the ER this Sunday. Seriously, for Stanford’s reputation, we had expected the team to be more on top of things instead of dragging things out over 8+ hours (and we haven’t been able to leave at the time of this writing). We will be happy to speak with a senior administrator to ensure that future patients receive a much more positive experience.

We had two stays at icu due to infant child’s condition. The nurses were great as they were not only there to provide care but also became a support system during our stay there. The doctors and specialist were also great, felt they were really professional and loved how they came around as a team to discuss progress and plan. Dr. Martin helped with our childs surgery and Dr. Thakor helped with some other issue. Im so grateful for them. We had others too that gave us encouragement and support. All doctors and nurses were respectful toward our beliefs. The family center staff where they let you check out books use computer and provide coffee were really great, friendly and treated us with respect. They made us feel welcomed. The cafe staff with their smiles and service and interactions made us feel some normalcy during desperate times. I.wish I could say more to show this hospital how grateful I am. I have my child at home and healthier than before, and Im so grateful for their work.

I was referred here by my oncologist like 7 years ago. They seemed fine at first but when they couldn't find anything after my MRI results, the nurse practitioner called me and told me there was nothing. I tried to ask follow-up questions but she seemed annoyed and just wanted to get me off the phone. No follow-up or reach out after to see how I was doing. Then they lost my financial aid packet, which can't be emailed and has to be Faxed or mailed, 3 separate times. Then my bill got sent to collections. I paid it off a few years ago after I finished college. Then I start going to a new oncologist and request records from the MRI. I get a letter back saying there is no record of the MRI. Now, after all that, my mother gets a bill in the mail from them, 7 years later, that I've already paid. This place is really the gift that keeps on giving:/

We've really been impressed with our nurses and doctors here. The only thing missing is continuity of care. They offer the possibility of continuity of care with primary nurses, but then schedule them everywhere else.

Went to the ER because my daughter had dislocated her elbow (nursemaid's elbow). On the plus side (and maybe because others know better) there was little wait and only one other person ahead in the ER. Once seen by the doctor she did this quick maneuver to fix it and that's it - was good to go. They wanted payment before leaving, and I was suprised it came to ~$1300 though I obliged them and paid by CC to be done with it. As if that wasn't enough, they later send me a different bill claiming I paid ~$900 and owe another ~$1400, after attempting to bill insurance $4200. I mailed them back a copy of my original bill and receipt asking them to investigate and fix their records, only for them to mail me back the same bill again later.

Our son was diagnosed with a rare condition when he was only 2 weeks old. My husband, who is in the military and I, made a tough choice to live apart, and for me to come back home to the Bay Area with our son to get him treatment at LPCH… It was one of the best decisions we’ve made!

We started seeing all of his specialists here from when he was only 3 months old. He is now a thriving 3.5 year old, who enjoys dancing, being around other people, and preschool. It’s amazing how much he has grown, and we are always excited to see what’s next.

We are grateful and blessed to be able to take him here. Thank You!

They saved my son's life after battiling with cancer. They treat you like family. When my son sees his doctors/staffs they are often friendly, kind, and caring. I love that they have a security upon entry into hospital It makes me feel more safe than other hospitals.

Unfortunately, we can't recommend this healthcare facility. It's not because of the care received here, it's because of the outrageous fees being charged, as well as the ongoing attempts at getting you to get more care (more visits, more blood draws, my imaging), which leaves you seriously in debt. In addition, after being down $2,000, we have not even received a phone call to explain the results nor have we received the results. As I said, not recommended.

Beautiful place. Animal statues and images around the hospital. Green all over seems peaceful, takes you away from the city feeling. The nurses are so kind and gentle with the children. The area is nice and there is pretty much everything you need around here. For a place of healing it's in a good location with all the beautiful mountain views.
