Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que reviews
19We ordered pork ribs to go last night. Got home expecting a great meal. Instead the ribs were dey and the outer area of the rib was like leather, absolutely terrible.
Servers were wonderful! Food very yummy. I got the smoked pulled pork. It was a large portion along with the two sides brussel sprouts had a tinge of sweetness to them. Loaded mashed potatoes was truly loaded with bacon cheese sour cream and chives. First time there. Will definitely return
I highly recommend this reataurant.
The food and service is not the same as the last time I was there.
The food was so bad I couldn't eat my dinner
Wonderful experience
Everything was good and well made
We chose the two meat option, it comes with two sides you can switch for premium sides.
Service was good as well
Overall great experience
Sat at the bar and the waitress was great. So friendly and she over heard it was my birthday and still brought me a slice of cake.
It’s Lucille’s! It’s southern and it’s always good. This is dad’s spot. Sundays after church with the family. This is a winner, you never lose here.
My order came on time. However, I did not receive the bottle of Memphis BBQ sauce that was to come with my order. The sauce would have made the food we ordered taste better.
Expensive for portions tgat you get. Taste was delicious. Had beef BBQ with mac/cheese, corn on the cob and delicious bread.
I ordered the tri tip sandwich and my kids ordered off the kids menu. Everyone was happy with the food.
Biscuits were amazing and the deviled eggs were the top two favorites, the ribs and brisket missed the mark for our group that is accustomed to bbq from the great State of Texas. The greens were not a fan favorite either and the macaroni and cheese was reminiscent of Kraft Mac & Cheese. The meal ended with the waitress bringing warm wet towels to the table so we could wipe off any excess sauce which was a nice touch. This was not the best bbq I've experienced, it was okay and I guess sometimes it's better to ask what the more popular menu items are versus trying your favorites because the way an item is prepared differs at every restaurant. I like my brisket extremely tender and thinly sliced or chopped.
Undeniably better than Tony Romas. Biscuit alone is really good. The Bbq, savory and one of the best!
Been here many times. Today was no different other than to write a good review.
I got their Southern Fried Catfish and shrimp served with fries, coleslaw, and two types of tartar sauces.
Their fries were cold and could have had a touch of fresh. The rest of the meal was delicious and would get it again.
Wife got their Jambalaya which was better in many ways in comparison to other restaurants that serve Southern style cuisine.
Finally our daughter got their kid meal with Smoked and BBQ pork ribs.
Their Homemade biscuits are amazing with the apple and cinnamon butter. Don't suggest eating a lot of those if you want to save you appreciate for the main courses.
Enjoy coming here, their customer service is friendly and accommodating. Their restaurant is clean and sanitized.
It was my first time eating at Lucilles and I was looking forward to the food! Unfortunately it tasted like the food was just warmed up and served in a hot plate, service was horrible sorry not sorry. Will not be coming back.
Always such great food. Never dissapoint. The staff is always attentive and welcoming. My favorite Lucille's by far!
Just had happy hour here with my family and the food, the strawberry lemonade and our server Gabby was amazing!
The “Gumbo” tastes more like Bell pepper soup. Fish taste bland. Stick with BBQ for flavor & season.
Quality is not what it used to be. You pay for atmosphere, bar and the name. Lunch was $48 no alcohol, only meat, side and soft drink. And biscuits, which were not as good as I recall.
We persuaded the staff to let us get dinner even though we were 4 minutes past their last seating tho they say they are open until 10. Staff were friendly after we were able to sit down. Food came quickly but it’s a bit pricy. Meat was a bit more fatty than I’d hoped. Strong stars are for friendly staff not the food.
Got the brisket burger and although it was big and tasty with flavor, the brisket was a bit dry. Parents got the beef rib and it wasn't worth it considering how it was mostly just bones. Not worth it.
