Love the meat department staff. Can find what I'm looking for most times, anything special call and they will try to accommodate you.

The store itself is not very well stocked. My main concern is walking up to the store. There are always someone in front of the store that is either on drugs or mentally ill. Last week a man was making obscene comments to people entering and leaving the store. This store is just in a bad area and it's getting worse. Safeway on foothill or in castro valley is a better all around choice.

Friendly staff, they don't hassle me about having a backpack, which is nice. Hand baskets and carts are always available. They are open long hours which is great. I wish the bike rack outside was more secure, I don’t feel safe leaving my bike locked to it as is.

I love to come here and get chicken strips they're always fresh big battered and delicious, and they also have ever and Jones barbecue sauce for those that love barbecue sauce Lucky's have Everett Jones sauce

They are high.but I go here for the things that are om sale. U have to watch the prices, cuz a lot of stuff is sold p/lb.even prepackaged stuff. So u literally have to watch everything they scan.

Because thy close st 8: 00 pm
I told him is 7,: 45 is no time to close
He say I can't slice
So I went there to got it but I dont until I ask the cashier she did fb or me
Some worker dosen't care the customer and suppose the customer is first

I just went to the “lucky” store in San Lorenzo, 15840 Hesperian Blvd, I got some Black Forest Ham from the cold cut section, the lady shortchanged me. She changed the price for pound intentionally. I was disappointed experience

Creepy old black security guard asking teenagers if they are barely over 18 trying to flirt disgusting other than that its a nice clean store and always have good stuff on sale.

Had only one checker and 5 people in the office, one person decided to take his break and he came back and was still in line horrible service

The store is clean and staff are helpful but the parking lot is almost always full of homeless or panhandlers, they also congregate at the entrances making it tiresome coming and going. The drug addicts don't help either that hang out in the parking lot. Other than that, the store isn't bad, just the surrounding areas.

Panhandlers at both doors on the way in and out (every other lucky I've been to asks them to leave). Multiple expired items on the shelves. Lines that don't move. Cart returns aren't labeled in the parking lot. I feel like this was supposed to be the "fancy lucky" but execution leaves much to be desired.

Best prices, nice foods and first customer service. I was completely satisfied with the portions that I was served!

13 years in Hayward, CA. Lucky's is always nice to shop at. Marty Jackson (Asst. Manager) has always done an excellent job there. Kind, friendly, helpful and very considerate of the customers needs. You may want to say Hi to him when you stop in.

Clean. Got a good selection of food, including organic options. The parking lot can feel sketchy, but I’ve never had any problems there.

You'll get what you expect from the store. The prices are good. The employees are respectful. The place could use more cleaning. Overall, it's a good place to shop for food items.

It's a good grocery store with pretty fresh meat, poultry, fish, fruits, vegetables. It has a wide selection of frozen food, soft drinks and wines. It also has some beauty supplies, birthday cards, flowers and small toys.

I purchased bbq chicken wings (Delicious!) and broccoli salad. The lady at the deli counter was very nice and a beautiful smile.very nice personality.the fresh produce area is well kept and clean.

I'll go there again.

Nice store.but a little hood because people kinda hang out asking for money and what not.but the police has been cracking down on that issue

This store seems almost fully automated, with no real reason to contact staff members unless one needs alcohol or cigarettes, or a cut of meat.the store is very clean, though they need to take some initiative regarding the Olympic level loitering that goes on outside and makes the place seem less reputable than it actually is.the branch had an Amazon locker setup, which is an added convenience.perhaps the ghost of the old weinerschitzel upon which it is built is keeping it humble.

Overall, just "okay". Pricing, brands, variety, and quality no different from any other supermarket. However, this location (A and Mission in Hayward) consistently lacks adequate cashiers between 10 am and 9 pm. Through all 7 years i've had it as my between-Costco-runs walk-to local.
