Luigi's At The Beach reviews
1375 bucks for a large pie and a small pie! On top of that, the pizza was not good whatsoever. The vegetarian pie was awful. The pesto sauce was cooked, so it tasted bitter. Onions were in chunks, so they were hard to eat. Just plain terrible.
Delicious ant pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended. Three of us were together and we all love different pizzas. We ordered 3 giant slices of pizza - pepperoni was added to one, gorgonzola to the second, and the third was just cheese. All three slices were very tasty. But really huge, we barely ate them. I could take one slice for two with my son and it would be enough for us. They cooked quickly despite the fact that it was evening and the restaurant was crowded.
Great place to have lunch. Had fettucini pasta with marinara sauce and a slice of large pizza. Descent taste and great staff
Middle of the road pizza for a high price. We expected that somewhat in a touristy location, but should of been better.
This was literally the best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Also the service was amazing! Loved it.
If you're hungry for a figurative slice of beach-life-locals along with a slice of pizza that you can brag about, then my friend, let me introduce to Luigi's. The norm is to order pizza slices because the slices are HUGE. You'll also find that they didn't sacrifice quality for quantity. The food tastes great. The toppings menu has many fine choices. And the atmosphere is a very beachy one.
Father's Day Spectacular. Enjoyed every moment, thanks for showing me the San Diego Padres game that day. The French Dip Sandwich and 2 drafts of Pacifico on Mission Beach & the Local Classic Carshow tops it off. My new favorite place. Second to none. Will be back many times year round. California, there is nothing like it. Makes San Diego stand out. Always Amazing! Live for these moments at 68 years young! ~so long~
Have had their carnivore pizza several times. Pick up and delivery.
Love the pizza here, and the service is really great. The person who delivered was the same guy that took the order. Very nice, great attitude.
Everything was pretty decent. If I'm in the area and want pizza I would come back to this restaurant. But it's not something I would drive out of my way for.
The pizza was outstanding. It would be amazing if they expanded their hours. We just made it before close and were informed that they would be closing soon and everything was to go only. What a missed opportunity because as we ate our pizza, so many people asked where we got it from, and they were saddened to hear that they could no longer experience the culinary masterpiece.
I've been going to Luigi's since high school and it's still the same great beach vibe. Pizza is fantastic and the antipasto salad is also great. Excellent selection of beer too.
Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try this delicious looking food. We were sat right away by the cashier. The server walked past us 3/4 times with out saying anything. After about 10 minutes we eventually got up and went next door to coaster saloon. The service there was instantly better.
The pizza was good but the prices were a bit expensive. The staff was great and very helpful.
