Luna Blu, Tiburon CA

Very small intimate place with a few inside tables, and a nice patio looking out into the marina/harbor. Great view of SF Bay. Ordered four things and three were very good. However, the entrée was not. The ravioli was undercooked. The cannoli was great, as was the tomato basil soup and the calamari. The patio had a great view, Elvin gave us great service, and the Illy coffee was endless and delicious. Would I give them another try, absolutely.

This place is GORGEOUS!

The food is amazing too lol. I wanted to try this place for a while and it does not disappoint! We decided to dine outside and had a beautiful view of the bay. The soundtrack of gentle waves splashing below us was a really nice touch too. The interior is well appointed too with a sailing/nautical/sea theme. It's small but that's not a bad thing and let's face it, that's how the bay area is.

We decided to have a drink before dinner and I appreciate that they have a wide range of selections to choose from. My wife ordered the Cioppino and I went for the Filetto Al Gorgonzola and both were amazing! I originally was craving a pasta dish but saw that and had to have it. I'm glad I did as the texture of the Filet was so nice. Definitely no shortage of flavor and the presentation was kinda cool too. My wife's Cioppino looked super good and the scent of it made me have food FOMO. We shared a Tiramisu afterwards and watched the sun go down on the bay. It was an amazing experience.

Lastly, the service was top notch. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the whole menu.

In closing, places like this are not just about the food or location, it's the experience. Don't take my word for it though, grab a loved one and head over, you'll love it.

Lovely outdoor seating area with no wait. Staff was nice but the one waiter was spread a little thin between all of the outside tables. Fortunately, the girl cleaning/setting the tables was very helpful and kind; she was able to assist with small requests for us which was appreciated.

The Crab Bisque came out first - I didn't notice any crab in it but it was flavorful and creamy nonetheless. The portion was perfect for one person.

Next, we received our shared entree (the appetizer and the bread we ordered hadn't come yet). The entree, Mezzalune Di Ricotta E Spinaci was tasty. We particularly enjoyed the sage sauce that the raviolis were served in. The raviolis themselves were ok.

We inquired about the Burrata appetizer and the bread rolls we had ordered (to go with the bisque which was now gone). They both came shortly after the entree. The bread rolls are added on individually at 75 cents per roll, we ordered two. They were a bit hard but warm and are served with olive oil.

The Burrata Al Tartufo didn't look quite like I imagined it. The presentation was intriguing and though this item was interesting, I would have liked to have more bread to eat with it. The truffle on top was generously spread which made it over powering of the Burrata, which is cooked/melted for this dish so it loses the softness and flavor that sets it apart from mozzarella. I am a huge Burrata fan so I can't say I would order this item again.

The Lemon Cloud dessert was very nice and light with a stand out lemon flavor. This was just right after a midday meal; not too heavy and perfect to share.

Overall, the Sausalito location with water views and quick outdoor seating are worth the visit. The food and service are ok.

Great Place on the water in Tiburon. A little overpriced but really good food and atmosphere.

Stopped for late lunch after Angel Island tour and had awesome cioppino and pistachio/pancetta lasagna. Great basil gimlet and Pinot Grigio too. Lovely view on the patio

Very rare restaurant experience where great food, attentive and friendly staff comes together with a marvelous location with outdoor seating next to the water facing the San Francisco skyline. My birthday dinner for 2 tonight was an excellent close of a special day. Thanks Luna Blue. Cioppino highly recommended.

We had a great meal here. Only 4 stars because the prices were very high for the dishes, I would have liked a bit of different flair for the dollars. Although I’m sure the retail rent is ridiculous here. It would have been nice for them to have taken some different and unusual culinary chances. Had a bit of a wait but service was good. We ate on the patio, nice views with naked sculptures. Stared at male genitals coming out of my husbands head the whole meal. Weird. The white chair seats were very uncomfortable. Made for a child’s butt it seemed, the edges dug in on the sides. We had the Caesar salad which was superb and excellent! The Tagliolini al granchio was good but would have liked maybe a few chunks of beets as there was very little in the pasta. Good amount of tasty crab on top. The Polpette Al Sugo was good, a bit dry and dense, lacked maybe some fresh herbs? The French fries were perfection. The Profiteroles were delicious.

I ordered Aperol Spritz, and instead of aperol, the barman poured vermouth into my cocktail. 5 minutes later, I noticed how the administrator brought a new bottle of Aperol to the bar. Apparently they just didn’t have the ingredients for the cocktail. So, they just cheated me and took money.
The good things are delicious crab soup and a waiter with a real Italian accent. That’s it.

Never ever had bad experience at Luna B. There aren't many restaurants I have been to so many times and can write that about them. Lina B is one.

Excellent Italian restaurant with plenty of awesome outdoor seating overlooking the marina. We ate here twice on a recent trip to Tiburon, and had great meals each time. I got the risotto first, then the bolognese, both delicious. Tiramisu was heavenly. Great drinks as well, and our waiter was very attentive and charming. We'll definitely return!

Luna Blu is our go to restaurant. We are there multiple times a month! The food is good! The ambiance is great the drinks are wonderful- lemon drop! We love the staff (Elvin and Michaela) and really enjoy the family like atmosphere!
At this point we’ve had everything on the menu, hard to pick a favorite.
Crystal and Renzo have created a really lovely place to dine. Perfect balance of quality and sophistication with chill vibes.

The food was tasteless. It seemed to heat frozen food or pre-cooked food. The seat was cramped and the table shook. I don't recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. The staff were fantastic. The view is awesome. Incredibly nice place for an upscale meal with a great view. I will come back.

Great food but the hostess is unpleasant. May be cultural but by the end of the interaction we felt like we should go next door. The food made up for it.

I would have leave 4 stars if the didn't ignore my request.
Me and my party of 2 walked in and requested being seated outdoors, the host said they didn't have available so we were seated indoors. I asked the waitress and the host to accommodate us in their patio area as soon as a table available, and look they didn't like us and ignored us since those tables supposedly reserved were empty all the time either the reservations were canceled or they lied to us. I felt offended and will never go there again
