Dr. James and her staff are incredibly skilled, thorough and incredibly friendly. This was the absolute best experience I’ve had at an optometry appointment! I highly recommend Luna Optometry, and Dr. James. Thank you for your kindness and thoroughness in my exam. If you’re looking for an amazing optometrist + team look no further. After 65 years on this planet it was well past time to get my first eye exam. I researched optometrists nearby and found Dr James - who had excellent reviews, so I booked an appointment. I'm so glad I did. Her staff was very warm and professional and Dr James herself made me feel absolutely relaxed and comfortable. This being my very first optometry visit I had many questions to ask and the doctor patiently addressed all my concerns and clearly explained what was to take place during the examination. The exam itself was extensive and eye-opening (sorry). Dr. James has cutting edge diagnostic equipment, which are fascinating in themselves.never did I feel any discomfort during the exam. She also made a point to ask in detail how I go about a typical day so she could accurately determine which prescription would work best for me. I must say my visit with Dr James was first-rate overall and I walked away from the office feeling much more knowledgable about my eye health and that I'd been well taken care of by Dr James and her staff. Highly recommended.

My experience here was not pleasant whatsoever. The optometrist was snobby, insulted my current pair of glasses, and just plain rude when discussing what my insurance covers. I wish my experience was different. I don’t recommend coming here. I hope that they change the way they talk to clients and treat everyone equally.

Wow - my new glasses are brilliant. How was i seeing out of my old ones before! Everything was explained to me on the eye consultation which was great. Loving being able to see everything crystal clear and the frames are fab. Thankyou for a great service.

The staff and optometrist were all very helpful and courteous for my new prescription eyeglass visit! The doctor was knowledge, swift and kind and the front desk helped me pick out an awesome frame.

As a new patient I had a great experience at Luna Optometry. Everything was on time and I was greeted right away. Dr. James took her time in explaining everything and also I appreciate that she did the vision exam before dilating my eyes. She made sure to answer any questions that I had. There were a great selection of eyeglasses, and the staff was kind and willing to help me figure out what my plan will cover. There was absolutely no pressure to purchase glasses, which I sincerely appreciate!

I switched over from another (high-end) optometrist office that I have been going to for years that I always had an ok experience with, but just ok. However I was concerned that I might of had an eye disease that the other office never mentioned as they seemed to only do the very basics. I passed by Luna Optometry and when I saw their list of services on the door, I decided to stop in. I am glad I did. I spoke to Dr. James briefly to get a better idea of their approach. I came home and after doing a little more homework and I decided to cancel my upcoming appt.with my current optometrist. I called Luna Optometry and they were able to fit me in the same day.

They had the normal test equipment plus an extra machine that could see the blood vessels and brain area which I really liked as it not only told you about your eye health but could also tell you about other health conditions such as diabetes or inflammatory. (I had also been concerned i might of gotten a concussion a few years ago but was hesitant to speak to my medical doctor about it as I didn't want CT Scans) so when Dr. James told me everything looked healthy that was an extra bonus to me for my overall health.

Then the doctor brought me into the other eye exam room which had one wall painted black. I thought that was unique and also smart as black is very easy on the eyes, and in that way I actually find it very soothing. Since this was my first time here I had a lot of things I wanted to discuss with the doctor about my health. She was very patient and I felt like I had her full attention. I never felt rushed or like I only a limited slice of her time, instead I felt relaxed to take the time that i needed. I felt that both the exam and the doctor herself were thorough. She explained everything that she was doing and also explained her answers to my questions.

I was also very comfortable speaking with her about my health and health in general. When you are someone who takes a more natural approach to your health it can very difficult speaking to medical practitioners however as Dr. James explained both in person and on her website she takes a more holistic approach. This was the main reason I switched.

The entire staff was friendly and relaxed. Dr. James was very knowledgeable, conscientious and again patient and attentive.

Overall I felt like I got an upgraded experience and at a better price too! Based on my experience from this visit, I would definitely come back.

Dr. Emily James is wonderful! I went in to get new glasses and she was so helpful with informing me about lens options. They have a great selection of frames and helped me to find the perfect ones. The best part was that Dr. Emily was able to cut the lenses for my prescription at her office for same day pickup! I didn't know that was even possible! The store is beautiful and inviting. I'll be back to get some sunglasses soon!

I walked in off the street and Dr. James saw me as quickly as possible. I got my vision checked for the first time in years. After giving my prescription, Dr. James explained that I could try glasses from anywhere; my prescription was very typical. I appreciated not being pressured to purchase the glasses in the showroom, which looked very high quality but a bit intimidating considering I wasn't sure I really needed glasses. I found a cheap pair online and have been so stoked to be reading at night again! Now I'll probably go back to get a quality pair of specs with anti-reflective coating for the computer. Good, honest small business! Happy to support.

In the past I went to a big, well known EYE center. I wasn't 100% satisfied with my vison but I thought, well. I guess this is as good as it gets.until I met Dr. Emily! She is extremely eye educated and very personable. Dr. Emily changed my prescription so I now have amazing up close and distance vision. She gave me the options to stay with the same vendor contact or choose another, fully knowing her recommendation was best, she let it be my decision. AND her front desk professionals looked up my insurance and informed me of a $200.credit per year that I didn't even know I had! (no one at the other eye center bothered to help me with my insurance). I cannot say enough good things about Luna Optometry. Give them a try.you will NOT be disappointed, in fact you will be amazed!

Dr Emily Jones is very knowledgeable. I Had a very detailed exam at her practice. Her team is fantastic, with great selection of high quality frames. My new glasses were ready with fast turn around time. I highly recommend her!
