Lush Cosmetics, Newport Beach CA

Lush is my favorite brand so far since I love all the scents and its functions. But I didn't think I should be treated like I was last night. Since we stopped by the store, there were just two of us, the store was empty. There was a lady gave us some good information, then she left us ourselves. We tried some samples and ended up buying a massage bar. The cashier lady gave us an attitude which I think we didn't deserve. First, she didn't ask us for our membership, maybe just a massage bar, and it was too cheap for her to give us a chance to add to our membership? Then we asked for a piece of paper to write it out since my email was too long. She rolled her eyes and slammed the pen and the paper on the table?
We don't think we were happy with that experience since we are customers.
Rude customer service.

Beautifully organized store and helpful staff. I love that everything is made with quality ingredients and that some items give back to organizations.

This review is for the Lush employee, who was extremely rude and unprofessional beyond even discribing. Her name is Jessica and works on June 1st, morning shift.
I returned 5 mask containers for exchange of one mask. They were all washed nicely. In couple of them, around the lid was literally tiny dried smudged powder, hardly could be even seen. She refused to accept it. I asked for a wipe to remove them or just washed them under the sink.
She said, it is impossible and if the inspector comes!
She made me to go to fashion Island restroom and wipe the smudge of powder. Literally it was hardly seen dried dust.
When I came back after wiping them, still was extremely rude and full of attitude. I told her what she has done to me was rude and represents poor customer service and I will share my experience at Yelp and google. Then she got fully defensive and angry and said she is refusing to provide any service to me.
To Lush manager, is that how you train your employees.
I am their regular customer spending at least two to three hundred dollars each month on their product.
From now on, I will take my business somewhere else and stop even spending a penny here.
They need to teach their employees the proper customer service.

It all started when Jessica said to me, “omg I love your earrings! ” I was just in town for the day from Oceanside and popped in briefly looking for mothers days gifts. Ms. Jessica briefed me on the whole story on Rose jam (the bath bomb smells heavenly!), and not only that, continued to share with me the story behind Lush and what their mission and core values are. That is outstanding customer service! Katz was also a joy to converse with! Thank you both for your outstanding service, kindness and beautiful souls! The world needs more people like you! And Lush is very lucky to have you both on their team!

OMG OKAY SO. Jessica, Katz, Mat and Bri are SO AMAZING AND WONDERFUL. I literally only use Lush for skin care and every time I come in, I feel so welcomed, invited and taken care of. Please come here and ask for them!
