They are extremely rude at the phone. I would not go to this place. I called to book an appointment, the person treated me extremely badly. I was able to get an appointment an another saloon “Carat Nail Spa” and was really nicely treated. I would not suggest Nail Lux business.

Same rude, nasty owner and rude, nasty greeting. I went a 9 am for a last minute polish change for a funeral downtown. The salon was empty, but one customer and several employees. I was rudely told by the owner that she no longer accepts any walk-ins and is by appointment only. Her business isn't advertised as walk-in and never used to be. I used to go here weekly several years ago, but the technicians kept quitting (three really good technicians and two okay ones), so I stopped going. Im the years I went there, I never once made an appointment, I just walked-in when I could squeeze it into my schedule and I went every week.

The owner was rude and nasty then and I see that nothing has changed over the years. You would think an empty salon would prompt her to be professional and kind. Fortunately, I went to another salon and they did such an exceptional job that I will start going there every week, instead of my regular salon uptown I ended up with a happy ending, but this place is a huge thumbs down for me.

I would not recommend going here. I asked for my nails to be evened out but they cut off my long nails right to the end so shaping was limited. When I asked for them to be shaped round they said “short nails don’t round” despite there still being room to do that. They proceeded to try but they still didn’t round them and after my second time asking with them still being uneven and portly shaped I ended up taking the file and rounding it out myself…. Normally I would never do that but they were VERY uneven since he had made very little effort to actually shape the nails. They also CUT MY FOOT. It is very painful since they cut into the cuticle and it it’s now a wound. This and more including the person muttering about me rudely under their breath are reasons why I will not recommend. I am not sure how they have 4 stars.

Chi was absolutely sweet when I called and made my appointment. I didn't have to wait and was taken right at my appointment time. My nails are fabulous! I appreciate the awesome customer service and beautiful work on my nails! Thank you Chi@Lux!

This space is always clean and calm, I deeply enjoy the relaxing Vietnamese music playing in the background. Cindy gives the best massages, go for the deluxe services if you have the time. So worth it ‍️

Che, and her team do an awesome job! Our whole family, yes husband, kids, included love being pampered by this well trained, personable, and talented staff. Great location and very clean! Plus all our nails are heathy and beautiful!

This place is good if you don’t like to make appointments, just need your nails done vs high quality manicure, and you don’t care if the English is poor with some staff.

They are fast and you can see how and where everything is sanitized.

They do not honor their appointment times which has happened at least twice. I called for a 3 pm apt today. They asked me to come at 3: 15. At 3: 40 I still hadn’t even started to soak my gel manicure.

Solution? I got the fastest manicure I ever had with no massage and got to pay full price. The owner did apologize and told me to walk in next time.

So 3 star for this place is about right.

Prize is ridiculously high for the bad service. Service was rushed and my friends French dipped nails where so rough looked like it was the ladies first time doing them. My dip nails broke off by washing dishes on the second day so you can say it was the worst service ever.

Lovely friendly service ; a great vacation treat after lots of beach walking. My husband was also won over by the callus treatment.

I visited this salon while on a weekend trip. The gel manicure and the pedicure are terrible. The gel polish is so far from my cuticle it looks like I have a week of growth. It is also very sloppily painted. The pedicure did not even last 10 minutes and I still have dry skin hanging off my feet.
The owner did my nails and she was rude and definitely making fun of every customer that came in, including my friend and I. DON"T COME HERE!
