Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting, Vacaville CA

After seeing my brother's truck and what a great job they did.and it was beautiful. My brother said take it to Maaco in Vacaville. A plus that it was locally owned. We decided to take my Fiat to have sun damaged roof and hood painted. We took it in on a Wednesday and they called on Monday. We went to pick it up and noticed the two side strips on roof had not been done. Evidently even though they are on the roof they are not part of roof. OK, well maybe we should have been more specific. We agreed on additional cost and left the car. We went back two days later to pick up. Oh my, there were two new dents on roof sides, a long scratch on rear right passenger door, rubs and scratches on both sides of roof. My husband was told they were previously there. No, they weren't!
I have had my Fiat brand new from day one. It has been hand washed, dried and waxed from the beginning. I know all the dings (one near passenger side above wheel one on driver's side door and a few normal wear rubs and marks under door handles). I am so disappointed and upset about the lack of concern or pride in their work. The experience is frustrating and we will not recommend this company. After reading the reviews, seeing my brother's truck and how wonderful it looked and then to see my car we can only conclude that depending on the day or who does the job you are taking your chances. Again very disappointed.

My vehicle had a terrible fire started by one of my headlights. I was in the drive thru picking up food and smoke started to flow from beneath the hood. The cooks rushed to come outside with fire extinguishers to put the flames out. It was not a fun experience. Luckily, the vehicle was salvageable, but needed major cosmetic work. Vince and his team went above and beyond to provide 5 Star customer service. After removing the melted bumper, he was able to find more damage and took care of it all. We are so happy to have our vehicle back! Our vehicle looks better than new. If you are looking for an auto body repair shop you can trust with integrity, then look no further than Maaco in Vacaville! You will not be disappointed!

Went all over for quotes on my WRX that had a dent in the bumper and they went above and beyond without robbing me, SUCH an amazing experience. Military friendly and my car came back looking clean.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I personally feel like it was a lazy job done on the vehicle and would never recommend any one to get there car painted at this maaco. They don’t care to make the customer happy at all. Never would I pay my hard earned money here.

First of all, forget everything you’ve ever heard about Maaco. My car was swiped from a hit and run, and I never thought it would be the same afterwards. Unfortunately my insurance didn’t cover any of my vehicles damages, and I was stuck to pay out of pocket for EVERYTHING. So being on a budget, I took my car here for MAJOR body work and a new paint job, and I honestly didn’t expect anything special at first. But when everything was said and done, I couldn’t believe how my car looked. The love that was shown to my car was above and beyond! The work that was done was immaculate. These people really do care. It’s not just another car job for them. Norma was such a huge help and made my experience the best it can be! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to have bodywork or a new paint job done to their vehicles!

Vince and the crew were really friendly and helpful. I hate to say anything bad but the worksmanship they did on my car was sub-par in a few ways, especially for $1700. I had to return the car to get re-work done on the hood and headlight area and even after the re-work there were still sanding marks. I chose not to return it for more re-work because I already went without my car for another week. Theres sanding marks on my back trunk where they did bodywork to fix a dent. There is also smudges in the paint on the fender that are quite noticeable. I decided not to take it back for more re-work and just live with it. Like I said, I hate to bad mouth anyone because they are real nice people there but the work was definitely not worth the $1700 I paid. If you take your vehicle to them, just look over the final product with a fine tooth comb and speak up. They are ok with fixing stuff I just couldnt go another week without my car and it's too late to take it back now. Sorry Vince about this review.

Vince at Vacaville CA Maaco was very polite and knowledgeable, he was straight to the point and took great care of us. Specially since we are active duty, and that was much appreciated. We loved the paint job and the warranty deal backing the product. Thanks Maaco!

I've had nothing but issues trying to redeem my coupon for two headlight restorations. I won't be purchasing any other services from this location.

Very good experience, the people their are pleasant to work with and their prices are very reasonable. They did a great job and went above and beyond what I asked for. Happy I took it their, my truck looks really great now.

We had our small RV done there a few years ago for over $5k. I was reluctant to do a review as they were so nice. But the more I look at the paint job, the more I wish I had gone some place else. There were a number of birds eyes, poor paint coverage, no caulking removed, they just painted right over everything, including rubber sealing. But the worst was the pin striping. Look at the photos below.

Norma was very helpful and I had a great experience here. Norma was willing to negotiate with me, and my damaged quarter panel looks like new now. Very happy I came here! Got a free car wash to boot.

Nora/Norma very professional, knows her stuff, This is the 3rd time my girls car got hit, All 3 times maaco did the work, Not one thing was wrong with paint, body or paperwork.

Check my review on yelp. This place charged me extra for work that was never done. The paint came out very blotchy cause by spraying over the existing white primer which wouldn't be a problem if the color I chose was white. The color I picked was a classic green so in the sun you could really see the primer coming through the green"Extremely embarrassing" When I brought it back they told me that they were going to take care of the problems. Went to pick up a couple weeks later and still looks the same. To top it off they put burn marks on my fender from the buffing machine. When I pointed out the problems to the manager Norma, she just looked at me like a deer looking into headlights completely speechless. I've been nothing short of kind respectful and patient with everyone here throughout the entire process but at this point I was done with this place. Bad news is i gotta get my classic car repainted and just flushed almost $5,000 down the toilet, good news is it's getting painted at a high end shop. Boy did I learn my lesson at maaco of Vacaville.

Maaco is the best! They have always been super helpful and got me in even last minute when they're fully booked. Not only do they do a great job but they are super reasonable on pricing.

Maaco continues to go above and beyond every time I had my cars repaired by them. They are Christians in the way they do their repairs: They do excellent work, and they always stand behind their work too. Without hesitation, I recommend Maaco first and foremost number one!

Very good customer service. They tried very hard to work on a complicated job and when some unexpected problems arose, they worked well with me to come up with a solution that met every ones needs. When I picked up my vehicle the second time, it was great to see how hard they worked to make me happy. Great people.
