MAC Cosmetics, Costa Mesa CA

I recently made a 15 minute glam appointment to have my eye and lips done for a holiday party. This was the worst make application experience I have experienced. Olivia (red curly hair), was the make up artist, I showed her a picture of what I wanted, explained I typically like more of a natural look. Once I saw my eyeshadow it looked like I had bruises on my eyes, then she proceeded to apply this cheap looking glitter. This look nothing like the picture. I took off the eye shadow asked for something simple, top eyeliner, when I tell you it was rough it was rough. Olivia did a thick unflattering wing application of eyeliner and when I asked for more natural. She got noticably fustrated, rushed through doing my make up, was heavy handed with the brush application and to top it off she had horrible customer service passive aggressive attitude! She applied false lashes which were unevenly applied. I literally came back home had to re- do my makeup and take off the uneven lashes. I left so unhappy and still spent 45 bucks because she spent the time doing the make up. I will never go back there and stick to Nordstrom's Lancôme YSL and Chanel! The one star is for the other two girls that were genuinely kind and welcoming!

Worst customer service ever with an incompetent manager. They never find my account. The bad news is the competition is getting bigger.

I needed some new foundation, it looked amazing a whole new look, and a perfect match.

I have been a MAC girl for many years - so it's really difficult for me to go to the MAC store and just walk out with the items I originally went in for.

Today I went in for just foundation, and was helped by Ximena. Well, the colors she had on her eyes was just SO BEAUTIFUL! So of course I had to ask her about the colors she was wearing. She showed me the products she used including the awesome pigment glitter (and I think that's where she sold me! I love sparkle!)

She was even kind enough to offer to show me how to apply the colors, so I took her up on her offer.

Even though she was having to also help guests as they came in the shop, she was still able to provide me with outstanding customer service with a smile! When the salesperson is this sweet, you don't mind waiting for them.

Well, needless to say, I loved the colors she showed me and bought them all!

Thanks Ximena for your assistance! I really appreciate you taking the time to go the extra mile, rather than just dismissing me because you were too busy. I will definitely come back for your assistance the next time I need something!

Thanks to Ximena, my daughter (C) knows how to put on make-up now!

C had an appointment for The Essentials and Wow Brows. Ximena was on schedule and AMAZING… she picked out all the basic necessities to match skin tone and colors to achieve the natural, everyday look that C wanted to achieve during the visit.

Being that C’s face was a virgin to make-up, Ximena kept it simple as she teaches C, step-by-step, on how to apply everything while being very detailed with techniques and tips… taking the time explaining and giving analogy to help C better understand the reason behind what was being done, making them easier to remember. The full make-up tutorial was unexpected and C was so impressed on how Ximena enhanced her natural beauty. When The Essentials was completed, C looked fabulous and gained confident that she can do it on her own. Being overjoyed and excited, C forgot to mention about the Wow Brow appointment… gives her a reason to go back sooner than later:)

Ximena went above and beyond… making it a pleasant and unforgettable 16th birthday gift experience that will benefit her a lifetime!
