Department Store Macy's reviews
27Found everything I was looking for that I couldn't get at Nordstroms nor the entire mall Macy's sits in. Organized and clean, great clerks, ready to assist. Got my luggage for my next venture 60% 0ff who doesn't like a good discount?
Always good quality merchandise and Fantastic sales. Just saved $1000 on mattress set on Memorial Day. I GET CASH rewards using Cc. Plenty of Parking. Confusing in that there are TWO Macys location in the Mall. Only Con is not enough help on floor to answer questions
This Macy's is divided into two locations in the mall. The first and larger location is three floors and connects to the parking garage. This section has two floors filled with clothing for women, perfume and cosmetics. The third floor has housewares as well as bedding. The second store which is middle of the way down the mall is a large mens store with a wide selection of Alfani, Calvin Klein, Tommy, Nike and Under Armour brands. Come and visit as the sales and pricing is quite competitive and there is plenty of parking at the mall.
I had a great experience. I went in looking for a sport coat. I was helped by a wonderful man named Reza. He helped me find the coat and then helped us get a wonderful deal. The coats were on sale which made it a great trip. I am exceptionally happy after going to one of their major competitors who didn't help us at all and left us with no choices. Macy's gets a gold star!
It's a big store but I wish they had some higher end designer stuff. I felt it was all geared more towards older clientele.
A SHEER NIGHTMARE! The branch located inside the Shops at Mission Viejo has no proper signage to inform you that there are 2 Macy's buildings, no employees to answer any of your questions. You have to leave the wrong Macy's, drive around and find another parking to enter the Macy's that has the same items in the newspaper. After having to walk the equivalent of an Ikea store, you get your items, pair them with the coupons Macy's sent to your name in the mail, but you're denied the discounts because those prices were already low, you failed to read the small print. The well-groomed ladies in cosmetics could be friendly, until they realize you just want directions to the linens Dept. But take heart shoppers, at least half of stuff found in Macy's, you will find at Marshall's, Ross, or even Walmart.and no coupons needed.
I'm pretty sure nobody works in this store. The store is beat with stains everywhere. Just didn't really want to spend money on a store that isn't well kept.
Maria in fragrances and Fabiola at the Clinique counter have been amazing. They have, both, helped me in finding the perfect gifts for my wife and sister this season. Maria has also, always been there for my wife when she has purchased fragrances for herself and me. Fabiola I thank you for the make-up help. In all honesty, I enjoyed shopping here so much, I decided to apply to start working here. So if I sound biased well, I'm not. I'm just posting the truth of my experiences. I'm not supposed to post anything negative so I won't but, I will say this. No one is perfect so, if you ever have an issue, with an employee or a price, you are more than welcome to talk with a manager and work to get your problem resolved. Thank you for reading and hope you come in to shop. -GSH
So old urgh they need to revamp this store. The clothing is just blah who is the buyer for this store?
I always loved shopping at Macy's. This particular Macy's just told me I wasn't allowed purchase a pair of pants I picked out because there wasn't a bar code on. There are so many department stores I can choose from, I love shopping at the ones that do not make me feel like an inconvience.
If you could ever find an employee that is going to help you you are luckier than I am. Very seldom does that happen
Men's department. Had to go looking for a register where someone was there to help. Then they had to ask for help on the phone to another person. The problem was not rectified completely.
I had not use my Macy's card in a year.so when I went to pay, my card was declined. I really like the shoes that I picked for my Granddaughter and myself with the discount offered that day, and so manager came and he said sorry there is nothing I can do. So for the first time in my life I was denied at Macy"s.not good!
Sad to see Macy's at Mission Viejo downsized. Seems their customer service pleasantness is disappearing.
I was ignored for about 10 minutes just standing waiting my turn when women walked up and got service. (White) then i brought my wife a 400 dollar bag. A dime waiting on a dollar.
My favorite name brands in apparel, macho every deppartment is exelent and no one is rushing you because they what to make comition, relax chopping and excellent customer cervices.
Macy's Men was clean, well kept (clothes folded and in their spots), and helpful. Shopping for a cruise and they only had two items in my size. Therfore they order them on line for me with free shipping and I used my coupons.
Having two different buildings in the same mall that are quite some walk apart is confusing and inconvenient.
Good experience, decent price large selection. Opportunities to try before buy is better than internet returns
I found some amazing shoes in the clearance department. You don't always get the fastest service there, but I did. Further, it was Memorial Day weekend and pretty busy. Definitely recommend stopping by here.
