Macy's, San Francisco CA

Macy's will always be one of the core department stores and I hope it will continue to remain for many more decades to come. While some things have changed up do to recent remodeling as well as this pandemic, it's still a solid location for a lot of things from clothing and accessories to housewares and kitchen tools.
And of course, it's always great to see what the windows looks like during the holidays!

Employee would only give me a travel cologne container if I would open a credit card with her. Have nothing in stock and the other employees are the opposite of helpful.

Although this store is huuuuuuuuge, huuuuuuuge, huuuuuuuge. No really I feared I would get lost in this place and never find my way out again.

There needs to be more staffing (I could only find 2 people covering the entire floor) and the signage is confusing/poor.
The mens toilet signage needs to be clearer especially.

Located on Union Square with access to transportation. Several places to have a bite to eat or coffee

Macy's is a great store to shop in, for women's clothes, men's clothes, jewelry, perfume, and home decor.

The San Francisco Macys never disappoints in being reliable. It is very big and can intimidate people that don't like to shop.

I gave it an average rating because there is no pizzazz.the windows need a Wow factor. Cashiers need to be better suited for easy checkout. Just my customer observation.

My husband tride to return a christmas present I bought him that was the wrong size to get the right one, He was told that if he didnt have the original reciet they couldnt prove it was from maceys event tho it was still in the box with the price tag. I called Macys customer service. I was told today by Macys customer service on the phone today that Macys does not take in store returns for their products bought online and that I would have to print out a return lable and ship it back. And they wont do an in store exchange either. So I will no longer buy things online from Macys anymore.thanks Macys for screwing up Christmas. I now know why your stores are closeing.

Few staff, and those they have know little about the store and its products. Poor supply of different sizes

It is always such a delight visiting this flagship store and west coast HQ. Used to be two buildings, one being men's only. It's a great place to shop for any and everything. Prices for every shopper and affordability. Not too expensive and not too low.right must visit destination during the holidays. Enjoy wonderful views from the top floors of Union Square, the giant tree, the ice rink. Have seen this store since childhood. Hope this SF landmark stays here for ever!

Simple. I order product. You deliver. I ordered they did mot deliver. Instead they delivered it to another resident. They will not offer a refund or reshipment. Terrible customer service. I won’t purchase anything else from Macy’s No. Never again.

Sales person Marilyn said they put Santa land in the basement this year and they disassembled early. Bummer

I believe this is the worst Macy's i've visited in the US.

No employees, there's no one to attend you, the store looks like its self-service but with close to no products nor sizes.

Also the first and second floors smell like street hotdog.

I took my wife shopping for HER only and I came out with more bags than her lol awesome place, has a huge collection.

1st time there. Came on a shopping charter from Vacaville. Impressive store with good variety and sale prices. Food services and restrooms available. Close to street cars and local attractions.ots of new items! Saw three different floors if the eight svailable!

Our first time going to this Macy's and it reminds me of the ones you see in the movies. I love that they conveniently have food here and all the Christmas decorations were so pretty. We even got to get pictures with Santa with no wait.
