Department Store Macy's reviews
26Store was cleanish and in good order. Staff as usual for this location are few and far between and not what I consider a wealth of knowledge. That being said, I got what I needed. Minus two stars for horrible visuals. So many broken mannequins or with missing parts. Did visuals for a long time, better to have out a few well maintained mannequins than broken ones that make your store look cheap.
The Help phone line in the Hillsdale store keeps hanging up on my calls! Obviously NOT a HELP line!
I went in to exchange a shoe size and they charged me 22 since because the shoes where purchased in SF and tax is different. It is so weird because it was an exchange.
I was shopping with my kids and had a backpack on instead of my purse and they were looking at me like I was a thief instead of asking if I needed help I walked out without purchasing anything
A super nice lady helped us at the jewerly counter, wish I remembered her name! Not so much upstairs in the household department, they barely want to look at you.
Macy's is terrible. You have to walk around the store to pay for your purchase. IT ISNT THE OLD MACYS. CLOTHING IS NOT WELL DISPLAYED. I HAVE DECIDED NOT TO SHOP THERE ANYMORE!
They have a very small selection of plus size women clothing. I would shop somewhere else if you are looking for more stylish clothes.
My favorite store to go to for clothing, make-up and home goods. I am a senior and I live Charter Club clothing and other designers they have. Perfect fit for me. Being a gold customer I get so many discounts it makes shopping fun!
There's never parking. Last time I was here, I created a parking spot to pick up my online order. I gave up on shopping traditionally here.
They've done some nice exterior remodeling.parking is very close to east doors.on GPS put 301 E Sailer Dr which will pin-point you to the east doors.parking lot accessible from 31st ave, el camino real, & hillsdale ave (cheese cake factory). Starbucks is a step away.cheers!
Nice back stage section downstairs Very nice employee comes to mind at recent visit in Alfani Department her name Charlene very helpful nice lady thank you Charlene you are a great example to many others thanks for making my evening of shopping so much better and easier!
This is a tough one as this storied establishment with a legacy of high end products and services has slide so far down market. As such it is unfair to have expectations of it being an upper mid to luxury market experience, when it has become a common bargain and clearance center. When compared to Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc, it is equal if not slightly better than average. Don't get your hopes up.
Kudos to Sharon, Jewelry Dept. Manager.thank you for your assistance helping us in anyway, an excellent accommodation for your customer's satisfaction. Job well done, Sharon, keep it up! Again, thanks and God Bless!
Nice, clean store. You can almost always find items on sale. Good prices on perfume, but they don't carry a lot of high end items.
Within Hillsdale Mall. Store consist of 4 floors in a mall being remodeled. Store is for upscale customers and a variety of clothing styles.
Macys to me has very nice things i wont deny it, but i have to say i dont feel like macys gives deals at all.for example all those discount percentages that show up in the mail are useless, read the fine print and pretty much the whole store is excluded, sometimes i feel like asking "tell me what i can buy " thats why i rate a three. Where the love and spirit when you need it.
To the few that were overwhelmed with work, I think that they did the best that they can. To the Manager of the Hilldale Macy's, having 1 register open to purchase clothing on peak season is not acceptable.
Sad to see Macy's slip. Almost no staff at the registers. Disarray throughout. Macy's has replaced Sears on its slide to oblivion.
Not bad for a long standing department store on a regular Saturday afternoon at the end of October. It's (shockingly) quite organized, and seems to have more merchandise than some other Macy's. The discount though seems to be less than others, maybe because they have more foot traffic there. Found some stylish items in the store, so plan to be back black Friday to score some goodies!
I love this place. Clothes shopping is always fun at Macy's. I find practically everything I need from shoes to sunglasses. And when they have sales going on, I make sure I stock up on things. You earn Macy's cash so it makes you want to go back and buy more stuff!
