The food is amazing. Their brunch has amazing sweet and savory options.
Make sure you get seated inside. The patio in the day is very hard to enjoy. Our servers tried our best to keep us cool and in shade but no luck.

Went to celebrate a wedding with a party of 9. We were easily accommodated, and everyone from the 4 year old up to the 60 year old found food they thoroughly enjoyed.

Went here while in town with my partner. While the ambience was absolutely fantastic (what a cool design!) our service wasn’t great. We waited a lot and only saw our server a couple times. We ordered wine, and our food came first and we nearly finished before we ever got it. I think the sever was just overwhelmed by his tables, because when he was around he was great! But it wasn’t super busy so not sure. My partner loved his food (gnocchi) and the apps were really tasty (portobello fries and skirt steak), but unfortunately my meal (chicken Milanese) didn’t have much flavor. That was a bummer. So we’d try it again, but hopefully it’ll be better next time!

Atmosphere and service were good but the food was just awful. We ordered the steak appetizer and it was so though it was practically inedible. The burrata and gnocchi were just ok, not great for the price.

Fresh and inspired menu, nice variety and nice opportunity share a wide variety plates for a mix and match. The plates are on the smaller side but are very tasty. The actual location is designed very thoughtfully and is very cozy.

My wife and I went here tonight. The food came out with in 5 min of us ordering it, the short ribs were still cold. The grossest short ribs I have had. Over priced, would not come back.

We were a group of 6 out for brunch. They sat us early for our reservation which was cool but our passive aggressive server LAURA was terrible. When giving our drink orders I asked to try the watermelon basil and she responded with “do you want to try it or do you want it? ”, she rudely corrected my friend on the pronunciation of Oaxaca, when we asked for the fan to keep flys at bay outside her response was “oh you want those now? ” and upon bringing them literally put one in my friends face then proceeded to say “oh watch out! ” at which point we decided to leave instead of giving this establishment our business. Upon leaving she asked why we were leaving to which another person in our party stated “they didn’t like the service” and her response was “I didn’t like the table”. There was absolutely no reason for her to be so rude and nasty. We went down to Parkhouse and had a wonderful time, as always. This is not the first time I hear of staff at Madison being rude to customers, management needs to do better when hiring staff.

Lovely restaurant with diverse menu to satisfy nearly every palate good vegetarian options available including soyrizo subs. Great outdoor areas, inviting to pooch owners. Staff are delightful and attentive.

Was nice place and food was good, especially the portobello fries. Wow. But out server was a little wonky and when my guest explained that her dish didn't come with vegetables as described, she just said they would give a discount, didn't even offer to remake or bring out the food. And in the end she took $6 off the bill. Kinda crazy. But maybe you will have better luck.

And the drinks were really good too.
I'm not trying to bash the place, just saying my experience.

Our reservation was a bit early at 6pm but I think it was a great time to arrive. The restaurant quickly filled up by 7-7: 15 and was very lively. Architecture and ambiance is really beautiful and the food was just as good. I got the chicken shish kabob and it was super fresh and the chicken was really juicy. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Nice atmosphere.
Food was a hit or miss. Peach panzanella had good flavor but bread wasn't soaked like a traditional panzanella, it just had croutons.
Crab ravioli was nice.
Short rib was lacking in acid and was very one note. Chicken kabob lacked any kind of flavor.
Overall, you would come here only for the ambiance.

Mi plate took 15 minutes more than all my 6 friends dishes. Mimosas package nobody finished them, really bad taste, Cheap juice.

Met up with some friends for brunch, and this was the perfect place! Laura was super helpful and a pleasure to interact with. Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. Super cute drinks and the food is worth it.

I love trying new restaurants especially when it comes to birthdays, so I decided to take my mom and fiance to eat breakfast here at Madisons, at first everything went well. As we sat they asked us about our drinks, I asked for a hot latte and they said okay, later on they come back and inform me that there machine broke and cannot do lattes anymore. Okay thats fine I understand things happen. So after we all ordered our food and when it arrived the waitress told us that there was no more hummus for her plate and can do more avocado instead.the meal was mainly hummus, why were we not informed before? Then my fiance eats the salad and is was super spicy witch it did not specify anywhere on the menu, when we asked the waitress to switch out her dish she said she would just bring another salad instead with no dressing.who eats a dry salad? ! After all that she forgot to bring me my bread and had to ask another waiter for help. This was a super frustrating situation and experience, I wanted a nice birthday breakfast but they made it really hard to even try n enjoy. Plus they add a 4% tip fee already added to the bill. Also the food was mehh. Will NOT go back here and will not recommend it, especially when there are so many other great restaurants with wonderful customer service.

I'm sad to give this place a low review, but our experience at dinner on August 12,2023 was less than ideal. When we lived in San Diego, we would eat here frequently. So, when we were visiting for my husband's birthday we decided to make a reservation to celebrate with some friends.
We were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. Explained the menu and told us about some specials the restaurant had. We ordered our drinks and they arrived. Very delicious.
She then came back and took our food orders. That's where it went downhill. Everyone at the table was underwhelmed with the food. My husband and I both ordered the summer carbonara and it was bland. No flavor and watery. When we were looking for our waitress to send our meals back, we saw her sitting down at another table talking to guests. She was seated at that table for a good 5 or 10 minutes. We had to get the attention of another server to send our meals back and order something else. By the time our waitress came to our table, our friends had already finished their meals and we had not received our new orders. We ended up cancelling the new food we ordered.
As we were leaving, I asked the hostess if I could speak to a manager about our experience that night. She went on to tell me that there was no manager in the building and that he only pops in every once in a while. There was no one in charge that we could talk to. That was concerning. If something serious happens and a manager is not around.what happens? Who is in charge?
All our other experiences at Madison on Park had been wonderful, but with this. I highly doubt we will go back again. There is so much good food around San Diego for this to fall short.

Excellent service! We showed app without a reservation, and we were able to get seated on a table in the bar period very friendly staff, exceptional service, exceptional food highly recommend.

The staff is amazing. I've been going here for years. I love this place. It might sound odd, but get the burger and fries, so good. Waffle fries

Went here for a work dinner with 5 other coworkers. The service brought us wrong drinks multiple times. One guest asked for ceviche as her entree and it did not come out when everyone else’s did. We had to get up and ask about the missing ceviche to get the problem solved as our waiters were nowhere in sight. We were waiting for 15-20 minutes for the one dish that was not even cooked. As we were finishing dessert, a hostess came to our table and told us that they needed the table so if we could wrap it up. They had not even given us the check at this point. Once we receive the check, we see that there is a large party charge and a hospitality charge for 24% total. Our party was a group of 6. The food was decent but not for the price and definitely not for the service. I will never dine here again and will go out of my way to tell everyone I know to never dine or drink here.
