Madison Avenue Salon & Day Spa, Ridgecrest CA

I'm giving one star for a good haircut.
My sister went in and received two services; hair bleach and nails. She was newly 18 and I decided she would be left in good hands for her dye and cut. I left to work expecting nothing less. I left her a Starbucks drink and some cinnamon rolls.
The RECEPTIONIST that was on duty the day of February 4th, 2022 at 9 am was so unprofessional. My sister said that receptionist kept passing by and picking off her cinnamon rolls. The receptionist would smirk at Becca, the hairstylist. Becca would just giggle and didn't say a thing.
I thought that it was strange when I picked my sister up at 4: 30 pm she hadn't finished her snack. She said she had lost her appetite. I would too if a stranger stuck her fingers in my food unsolicited!
So the reason I'm posting this TODAY and not in February is because I suggested that my sister and I get our nails done, to which she replied "not at that salon with Becca because that girl ate my food". This was A week ago today that I found out about the unprofessionalism at that salon. I asked for a call back when the women were in on Tuesday, it is now Friday and I haven't heard from a single person at Madison Ave Salon.
I expected to leave my sister in good hands but was left disappointed when not even her own stylist could stand up for her.
A bad review over cinnamon rolls May be meager to some, but somebody sticking their fingers in my food, especially without asking first is disrespectful. This made me feel that Becca, the receptionist, and the others who work at that salon saw my sister as a lesser human being that didn't deserve the common decency of asking her permission.
I hope that Madison Ave Salon values it's guests more than this, but I couldn't even get a call back, so I doubt it.

I came here yesterday to see Angie for Brazilian waxing. She was amazing. Fast, gentle, and friendly. I totally recommend her!

I have made 4 appointments at this salon, over the last few years because I have friends who come here. But every time, I have been let down by the stylist not showing up. Even with this last appointment, I was hopeful the others were just circumstantial. So unprofessional and very disappointing.

Heather took care of my hair, which is very dense. Between thinning/texturing and and undercut that no one would knowing even there I think she managed to thin out my hair by close to 50% which feels so much better and much cooler in the hot weather! The place itself is very nice and the cut was moderately priced. I look forward to returning.

I love the people here. Everyone at Madison Avenue is very welcoming.

Rachel, who does my hair both color and cut is really good. I feel like a million bucks when I leave the salon.

Omg I came to get me and my boyfriends hair cut a o we decided to go to this salon and we are from out of town it was absolutely worth it. Sherri did my hair and it was absolutely perfect I absolutely loved it every bit of it. My boyfriends hair too. She did amazing job and it was so worth the trip and I enjoyed having conversations with her as well. Highly recommend going here and will be returning in the future!

Penny has been cutting and coloring my hair for years and she does a great job every time. It is always a pleasant experience. Very nice place.

I definitely recommend this spa to everyone. Very pleasant staff and you can get your hair and nails done the same day. They also offer waxing, message and soon facials.

They quoted 100 for a service. They completely did not do a good job and hit anywhere near the mark. Cost my wife 370 out the door. Her hair is shorter then she wanted and the color makes her hair wash out. Absolutely terrible service. I will take this to the BBB. Livid at the poor service

Wasn’t happy with my haircut, I asked for long layers she just chopped it up uneven.no style and very over priced. Pretty upset. I left worse then how I had it before and for the price.

My favorite place for hair, Vicki is my main girl! All the ladies are very talented and polite!

This is the best haircut & style I have ever had. I have had been to several salons where I live in Redondo Beach. I can honestly say I had never left saying,
"Now this is perfect, this is me. " I now have my go to salon and my go to person, RACHEL OCCHIONERO she is the best!

Becca from Madison Avenue is so great! She did a perfect job cutting my hair. She is super sweet and flexible and very patient. Ha. I am very picky with how I like it cut and styled and she did exactly what I asked.

Amanda is the best! I love getting my hair done with her! We always have fun picking colors!
