Madrone Apartments, Mountain View CA

I had a great move in experience at Madrone Apartments, largely thanks to the exceptional assistance provided by Rebecca. When we initially moved in, there were a big issues that needed to be addressed, and Rebecca went above and beyond to ensure everything was promptly corrected. Her dedication to resolving our concerns made our transition into the apartment smooth and stress-free. We just moved from Michigan to California and she's now one of the reasons why I say everyone is so nice over here!

The apartments are modern and space efficient. I have no complains when it comes to functionality of the apartments. The facilities are also very reliable and accessible. The management team is great as well.

However, the reason why I'm only giving 3 stars is because there are some Karens and Kens here. I did not expect to be attacked by my white neighbors while I'm minding my own business. They are very aggressive and lack personal boundaries. I feel like I'm a victim of hate crime. The environment is so hostile. Please be safe from white people everyone. I hope kindness prevails.

Worst experience I ever had with Madrone team, their process of leasing was nightmare. They push me back and forward saying you are approved and then you are not approved yet and over and over. I already lease apartment from another property management and it was smooth and clear so I can compare. Probably they are just all about discrimination.

The apartment maintenance service was once good, but not anymore. I filed several tickets, called the office multiple times, who always said they will get back to me later but never did it or resolved the issues. After weeks of waiting, I had to fix them myself.

Best place in the Bay. I lived in a 2b for 3 years. I'd never move if not because my roommates were moving out. Surprisingly low price for a luxurious style apartment, clean and beautiful env, right in the center of the Bay. Driving to anywhere is about 15min. ~2100/mo for me all time for this lease. None other place is comparable at all. I moved to Encasa and it was ~200 more expensive, and management is much worse than here.

I lived at Madrone from March 2021 to March 2022 and when I returned to the area a few months ago I chose to return to Madrone. Websites and tours can give you a good sense of the units and amenities and what you see is what you get at Madrone, it is lovely. In my renting experience, what is consistently a toss-up is the management and facilities team. The current staff and Neighborhood Director, Taniesha, are doing great work. When I moved out in March 2022 I left satisfied with the experience and disappointed that the management team could not fix serious ongoing issues associated with USPS mail delivery. Upon my return I met Taniesha, who was new to me, and learned that she tackled that complex issue head-on and got it resolved. Additionally, during the recent winter storms, Madrone did an excellent job of communicating with residents what they were doing to address the water, downed trees/trees limbs, etc, always reminding us that they were available to assist and how to reach out depending on the time of day. I am thankful to make my home at Madrone where they are taking good care of the neighbors and neighborhood.

Madrone is an excellent apartment complex, and I received outstanding customer service from their Neighborhood Ambassador, Rebeca. She really went above and beyond and has a great attitude. 10/10
