Magic Carpet Golf reviews
18It's not the greatest mini golf course as far as how it plays. If you're a serious nerd and take your score seriously this probably isn't the place for you. Some lumps in the carpets, some features don't work super well, but for a fun outing with the family it's a great time. Several courses. Cool decor. And right next door to a big outdoor beer garden so the adults can grab a pint after playing. I play here almost every time we take the kids to Tahoe
What's not to like about miniature golf? This location is a little dated, but the staff was super friendly and the course was clean. The arcade was nice too. Kinda pricey, but a good time was had by all.
Lovely place with lots of details - tracks were a bit too easy (I don't ever play.) - maybe aimed more towards a younger audience)
Lots of fun! Reminded me of the old-time mini golf courses from years ago, with lots of fun obstacles and moving parts.
This is a fun mini golf spot in Tahoe! They have different themed courses! We did the 28 hole course and it took about an hour. There are a few vintage arcade games and snack vending machines. The woman who was working was really friendly and helped make the experience cool and chill. I would definitely recommend going there to add some laid back fun to your Tahoe experience
It was so fun to bring my adult kids to the place I grew up going to in the 70's/80's. I left many quarters in their arcade as well during that time. I was very happy to see that the original family still owns and operates this South Lake Tahoe icon.
The owners have really done a great job of upkeep and adding some new holes to what is now 3 separate courses (there were only 2 courses in the 80's).
This is a MUST VISIT every time I am back in town.
Enjoyed our experience playing here! They kindly accommodated our larger group. They have 3 golf courses, and they are all different but really fun! Prices are more than fair, and the owners are very welcoming!
Amazing mini golf course! Fun for the whole family. Mother in law was able to navigate almost whole course in an electric scooter.
Nice spot for some mini-golf. Multiple courses to play. Some holes were a little in need of repair but overall a fun time!
Awesome fun filled night out. 3 different courses to play, all challenging & entertaining. Our group of 6 adults had a great time. The venue is family run, kept clean & has a relaxed vibe. The video game arcade is well light & clean.
This place is amazing! They have three different mini golf courses. A lot of fun. We were greeted by Joe at the front and he was very nice and had a great attitude. There's also some really fun arcade games. We especially enjoyed the halo arcade game.
Honestly fantastic mini-golf. Structures are creative, holes range in difficulty, and the overall vibe is just plain fun
Well that was a blast.
Mini golf on our trips has always been a thing and Magic Carpet does not disappoint. Lots of courses to choose from so there is a good variety. It's pretty well shaded and they even have misters for when it gets to hot. All in all great place to stop by if you have family and some time. You also are witnessing the 1st defeat in air hockey my daughter handed my son lol
This little course is a Tahoe fixture. It's definitely worth spending a sunny afternoon putting out here. I loved it as a kid and my kid loves it now.
Kids enjoyed themselves. Only $11 for a round per person. One of the few good deals left in the inflated Tahoe Market. The parents went next door to the Hanger and had a beer. Great combo!
We had a great time visiting here! The course was very unique and fun to play. Recommend visiting if you're in the area!
Lots of fun for the kids, nice staff. David, but that's the charm. Some light bulbs were burnt out. Entrance from parking lot into facility was dangerous in a wheelchair. Course is not wheelchair friendly. I had a walker and made it work but not recommended for everyone
This place is awesome! Multiple courses up to like 60+ holes depending on how long you want to play. We did the 28 hole castle course, and had a great time. All the holes were handmade and really brought me back to my childhood. The 28th hole was a slot machine that we actually won on, and got a gift card for a free round! The staff were super nice and approachable, not to mention had us on the first hole not even 5 minutes after parking. Can't wait to come back.
