The magic show was fantastic! We had dinner at the Loft just before the show. 7pm show with Robert Hall was great family fun with some side jokes for the adults. Great entertainment after a long day of skiing. Thanks for a good-hearted evening!

Robert Hall was awesome! The show was super entertaining. It was a nice bonus to have my wife and son integrated into the show.

We attended Robert Hall's show on a Wednesday evening with our kids (11 and 8). We all had a really great time! Robert was funny and had some seriously impressive illusions. He also handled some hecklers in the audience with skill and turned what I thought might be a rough night around early in the show. This show is good for all ages. Grab a drink before coming into the theater for the show.

We went to David Goldrack’s magic show and it was fantastic! Family friendly & very funny. He interacted with the whole audience trying to get as many different people involved with each trick. Next time you are in Tahoe check him out at magic fusion.

Matt Marcy and the rest of The Loft staff were charismatic and interacted with the audience in a way I’ve never seen a magician do. A wonderful intimate space for wonderous intimate magic. Unfortunately my girlfriend and I had to leave early and go to the hospital due to an emergency but by all means, go! Support local magic shows! Especially shows as good as this.

David was awesome! We went to the show unexpectedly & had a great time. He included everyone in the audience & he was super nice about our 18m old who caused a distraction here and there! Loved his jokes and magic tricks and we really appreciate him making us feel comfortable with our toddler in there!

To sum up this show in one word would be inspiring. David was able to combine magic, comedy, and suspense into one show. Very up close and personal experience. Nothing like anything I have ever seen in a show. Must see show if you are near South Lake Tahoe. This is the first review I have ever written to put my words in perspective.

David Goldrake is truly exceptional and superior. How did you do the "54"? Also, very impressed that he remembers every participant name throughout the show, and at the end. Would love to see the show again. Truly amazing. Thank you!

A nice, midsized venue for magic. The magician we saw, Robert Hall, was excellent. A great way to wind down after a busy day

Taylor Hughes, the magician, is whom we saw that night and he was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and purchase the two for one tickets at one of the stores instead of the booth in the middle of the area to save yourself some money. The store is to the right of where the booth is located.

As a fellow practicing magician, I knew the tricks he was performing but Taylor's magic was smooth and spot on. Really great job Taylor.

Taylor's comedy act is hilarious. He is really funny and incorporated the crowd into the show. This was really well done.

My family loved him and the act. Really great job.

Went with the entire family (ages 8 through 67) to see Magic Fusion with Robert Hall, and it was such a wonderful, entertaining evening! He is a great comedic storyteller and slight-of-hand magician. Robert interacts with the audience throughout the entire show and keeps you guessing and wondering. A must see!

A Five+ Star performance at a 2 star venue. Matt Marcy is a master at his craft and put on an amazing show but he was hampered in his efforts by a venue that allowed a mother, her baby, and 8 year old to walk in 15-20 minutes into the show with a very large stroller practically onto the stage and loudly take their seats. It's not a large theater and Matt had to give it some comedy which he did masterfully but it took away from the show dramatically and was a snub to Matt and the rest of the paying audience. He had to later personally take the stroller out of the theater as it was a hazard and in the way of the exit. Where was the usher to handle this? !? There was also another larger group of people who also came in about 10 minutes in causing another disruption. I must urge that the venue discontinue allowing infants and latecomers to their shows. It was only by the Grace of something that the infants weren't noisy and screaming the whole show. I feel bad for a talented visiting magician that has to work into their show your shortcoming as a venue and as a paying customer I was very disappointed. Also your staff when walking in are pushing people to buy drinks yet you had one bartender for a group of 30+ people who only get their 15 minutes early as instructed so you missed out on a lot of potential sales. End Result: I will not be attending shows at this venue anytime soon but I will definitely be seeing Matt and other talented Magicians at more respectful venues in the near future!
I want to reiterate that Matt Marcy is amazing and I hope you will all go see him. Just maybe not best to do so at Magic Fusion until they make their guest performers and paying customers experiences a bit better. You could start by instituting an age limit? 5+ at the very least? And a late ticket policy fyi it's too small of a theater to be letting people in late. I could go on and on about the issues I saw but the reasons listed above should suffice.

Marlin at the front desk so very friendly and help when purchasing tickets for the show. The show was good, however, the magician needed to be able to read a crowd better. He called on audience participation on a woman who didn't want to participate. Instead of moving on, he proceeded to give the whole audience a five minute lecture on covid and returning back to live performances which was rude and left everybody uncomfortable. Then, he for some reason, picked a family where the dad wasn't the actual dad of the child and the mom had to tell him to stop and "don't make this weird". I think the magician's intension was to make a joke about "the dad" having to put $100 under the pillow like the tooth fairy but it went really, really bad. It was obvious there was a broken home scenario and the man wasn't the real dad (maybe even a first time boyfriend). The magician kept on double down on his joke making things really uncomfortable.
