The “director” of residents shelly is rude and heartless she does not care about the residents or the staff that work tirelessly. One of the worst directors ever!

The people on staff remain calm and cheerful. They are kind. They attend to the details as soon as they can. I hope I can stay at a place like this when I am in my mother’s situation.

Magnolia Place Senior Living is one on the best places out here in Bakersfield! The staff treats all the residents so well. Everyone is kind and I also enjoy working here. I give this place a 10/10. Keep up the Great work Magnolia.

I visited Magnolia Place to see if it would be a good place for my mom. I had toured several places in town and found Magnolia Place to be the most active and personable. It was very welcoming. The residents and staff made us comfortable and were so kind. We chose this place for mom and she has loved it there! More than anything, she feels like she is family there. She has made many great friends and she really enjoys living there. Thank you Magnolia Place for the love and care you give to our mom!

Magnolia place has been great for my father in law! We have seen such a positive outcome, he loves all the activities they offer and the staff are always so pleasant and attentive when we go visit him Sundays.

My grandma lives here and she loves it! She is always talking about how nice the staff is and how much there is to do. Whenever I come to visit she always seems to be doing an activity with her friends!

I have never written a review of a business before but Magnolia Place has been so good to my dad that I wanted to make sure the world knew! My dad has been there for several months already, and we couldn't be happier. The staff there are kind and involved with each residents' lives. They celebrated my dad's birthday, and he was thrilled with that. They have "Happy Hour" every Friday and the entertainment is really good. It has become a family event for us to go visit dad during happy hours and enjoy the musical performances. I love that my dad has a place to live that is active and caring. He likes the meals there but when he has a meal he doesn't like, they will always ask if he wants something else. It feels like a restaurant. He has made many friends there and a lot of his new friends are the staff too. Thank you, Magnolia Place, for making my dad's final years exciting and valuable. Thank you for being our extended family!

My mother was nervous about moving from her home and into an assisted living community but Magnolia Place made it easy! We looked at several places but it was Magnolia Place that felt the most active and caring. Mom has been there for over 6 months now and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff there are great to communicate with us and we feel a part of the family there. I eat with my mom often and I have enjoyed the food there each time. The activities are fun and plentiful. It has been really fun to see a different side of my mom as she gets involved in the activities she gets so excited. We look forward to many more years there.

My dad has been a resident of Magnolia Place Assisted Living for about 18 months now. We really appreciate the excellent and compassionate care he receives. Dad has strong opinions and if he didn’t like the facility, care givers, or the food, we would definitely hear about it during our frequent visits. But so far, so good. The administrative employees have always been pleasant to work with and communication from the Executive Director is excellent. When we researched assisted living facilities in Bakersfield, we felt we would be happy living at Magnolia Place in the future if our circumstances warranted. Since we could see ourselves living here, we felt that was a pretty good gauge to use for Dad... And thankfully, we still feel the same way.

Magnolia Place repeatedly lives up to the promises made when we first signed up! Christine promised us the our mother would be well cared for when she moved in. We were nervous and apprehensive as this was a huge move for our mom. She was also very nervous about living there. But within one week of living there full time, our mom was extremely touched by how nice every single staff member is. On her 2nd week, she was telling us what a lovely place Magnolia Place is. She has now been there for almost a month and she continues to be impressed with how helpful and kind the staff are. We could not be more pleased with this facility! They go above and beyond to care for their residents and their family members! I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for the best care for their parent.
