Main st Car Wash reviews
7I wouldn't even give it a one star there was no soap coming out dirt remover didn't work brush was dry I'm pissed.
Well I love the fact you can use your debit card. And they've got a lot of stuff to clean your car with
Highly recommend…always kept clean machines are in proper working condition and this summer they upgraded their drink vending machine ice cold …. Almost forgot they use great chemicals for getting the perfect clean finish on your cars
Not impressed at all. Got the top car wash in the automatic wash and it left so much dirt and bugs on my van and windshield. I would like to say ill be back but I wont. My daughter was with me and she loved it but I can't be paying for such a bad car wash
We've been going to the SpeedWash automatic car wash for years, but decided today to try out a manual car wash. We haven't been to a manual car wash in at least 20 years, so we really weren't sure what to expect. Did we need quarters, cash, could we use our card? We weren't sure. Well it turns out, at Main st car wash, you can use cash, coins or card (or your phone) to pay for the car wash, but the vacuums don't take cards. They have a change machine up front, which accepts $1, $5 and $10 bills, that gives you $1 tokens, which can be used at the vacuums. It cost $1 to use the vacuum (not sure how much time you get, but we had to use 2 to vacuum our car.) They have little vending machine things up front, with stuff like air fresheners, but those take quarters only. The first car wash bay we pulled into, the brush was broken off. The only bay that was left was the really tall one, which you could use to wash REALLY big/tall vehicles. On that one, the dial was completely messed up. Example: you select soap brush, but instead wax comes out of the water hose. So it took us a lot more time, trying to figure out which setting actually went to which thing. (Never did find the rinse, or spot free rinse. We ended up having to rinse with the wax) Initially we paid $5 for 10min (used the tap & pay with my card.) But then we had to spend another $2 for 4 minutes, trying to figure out which setting actually went to the blower. Which was terrible btw. Barely any air came out. The other things worked great though. I was super impressed with the amount of soap that comes out of the brushes! All in all we spent $9 to wash and vacuum our car. We will be going back, but hopefully we're able to go to a bay that has a properly working dial.
Love this wash. Only complaint i have is there’s no debit card reader. Only reason I don’t go here anymore is because I don’t carry cash often. It’s very rare that I do. Would definitely be 5 stars then. Even the beat down wash at the storage place has card readers.
Update. Card readers are in! No more subscription car washes! This is my favorite wash. Well maintained and stocked. I enjoy washing my car. Enjoy it even more so here.
