Main Street Dental Group, Ventura CA

We were referred to Main Street Dental six years ago from a sister company when moving to Southern California, and are very happy with our decision. The ENTIRE STAFF is friendly and genuinely cares about us as individuals, not just as another patient. The friendly office staff promptly greets you when entering, and offer payment solutions tailored to make potential costly procedures more affordable. They are part of the Smile Plan Network which anyone can purchase for around $100/yr. (for the first person & less money for additional patients under the same plan), and they accept many other existing dental programs. The office staff are extremely knowledgeable about identifying best coverage options, and offer financing options at zero percent for promotional periods of six months to a year.

The X-ray technicians are properly trained to handle even people like myself that have trouble biting down on objects, while taking the necessary pictures; followed by the hygienists that take a personal concern for our health and provide the best cleanings ever received. The dentists are very skilled at their job using the latest groundbreaking technology, while explaining and performing preventative procedures in a logical plan to keep a healthy smile. The Periodontist is exceptionally skilled at surgical procedures and put you at ease through the entire process; and even personally calls afterwards to make certain that you are not experiencing any real discomfort, providing you her cell number for questions/ concerns. Bottom line is if you are looking for a family oriented dental office that cares about your permanent smile and heed their professional advice such as deep cleaning to save your teeth, then it is worth visiting Main Street Dental Group.

Having my teeth cleaned with their experience assistance made this an enjoyable visit also the use of the X-rays plus photos shows me if there are any problems. I recommend this place for personal attention and a wonderful healthy smile.

Highly recommended. I live in West Holywood and I drive all the way to Ventura so Dr Khazali can visit me and it's totally worth it.
My last visit was as seamless and good as the others. I had to make an urgent appointment and was able to see the Dr next day. When I got there their friendly front desk helped me with my check in and insurance quickly and then Dr Khazali and her crew helped me with my teeth. Again, hight recommended.

I am terrified of going to the dentist but I had the best experience today with the crew that helped me! Dr Nicholas Young, his assistant Jonah, and Esmeralda at the front desk made me feel at ease! Everyone was very informative during every step so it was nice knowing what and why things were happening. They were all also very professionally friendly in the way that I was able to talk about hobbies such as video games with them while I waited for my numbing to take affect before my cavities were taken care of. I feel like as patients we can forget that our doctors are also human, and so we don't open up or really communicate with them, but this team made me feel so welcome. It was easy to start a conversation with them. They were very approachable. The process of having my cavities taken care of went very well too by the way! I feel more confident in my smile and am a little less afraid of going to the dentist now knowing I have them to help me!

This was the WORST experience I have EVER had at the dentist. They lied on the phone about the co-pay, charged me another amount upon arrival, misinformed me in regards to the procedure, then to top it off, the nurse and Dr.could not find a vein after sticking me with needles 9 TIMES! After spending most of my day there walked out with no dental work AND ALL BRUISED

I asked for a refund, they informed me 7-10 business days, that was 3 weeks ago! On April 12,2023, Today is May 2,2023! LIARS

Now they tell me the refund is in process and returning to my card which I have yet to see.

Very pleased with my visit to Dr. Young. Very thorough and respectful. Veronica was a great assistant.

Lots of waiting. One lady just threw papers onto my shoulder. Dr did not look at me while explaining things. Had her back turned.

I was very well attended by all of the staff here. Very clean atmosphere, and the level of professionalism is held to a high standard. I will definitely recommend this office to friends and family for any dental work they need.

They were fair price let you finance if you don't have insurance they all seem really nice

Best place ever staff is amazing great customer service. Doctors have done a good job on my hubbies teeth. Can’t wait till the final result.will always use this office for our dental needs.

Ehhh. I agree with the other reviews here. I think the dentist is great (if you actually see her). Last time I visited, it was for a normal routine cleaning and the front desk ladies were rude. I also didn't even see the dentist? ! I have always had cleanings done by the hygenist, which is fine, but then they told me the dentist doesn't need to see me every time. Like what? I think it's normal for the dentist to come in for 2 minutes afterwards just to verify that everything looks good. I like the other staff members though, but will still not be returning.

My husband and I went in for Deep cleaning and wisdom extraction had such an awesome experience! Dr. Young made us feel comfortable & was great at explaining the procedures throughly! Front and back office staff was super friendly and Esmeralda was super sweet and helpful! I would definitely recommend this office.

Only problem is communication with billing lady, when I asked for copies of the billing I was told " I don't know you have to call" even though she said she would give it to me after the procedure. As for the Dentist he gets 5 stars he was the best dentist I've ever visited.

Dr. Khazali was great she really knows what’s she’s doing she was fast best experience at a dentist I’ve ever had Daisey the assistant was also very helpful explained to me the procedure what to expect made it go by very smoothly

I had my best dental office ever. I am not blessed with good set of teeth and was told previously that they would not want to do some of the work. I had a crown done same day at a difficult and not perfect spot. It came out beautiful. All staff are professional and nice. Cleaning done was also the best I ever had. They are also willing to make it happen with insurance and payments. I will definitely come back.

I don't recommend going to this dental office. My insurance changed and I was hopeful for my new 6 month appointment at Main Street Dental. After an initial meeting with the doctor, I went to schedule an appointment for my teeth cleaning. I was told by the front staff that I had to have a $135.00 laser treatment along with all my cleanings or they wouldn't book me. I told them I only wanted the cleaning covered by my insurance but they would not allow me to make an appointment. I was bewildered and asked if they were willing to give me up as a customer if I didn't comply and they said yes, that it was my choice. In 40 years of continual semi-annual appointments and teeth cleanings, I have never seen the pressure and rudeness shown at Main Street Dental. I am shocked by the attitude at Main Street Dental.
