Main Tap Tavern reviews
17 Not obvious is the food. The kitchen is well hidden. But the food is reasonably priced and excellent.
Beer is good too. Adequate free parking in the rear.
So much fun. I didn't get bartender's name. But she makes the best margaritas. Also you can bring your dog, as long as it's nice. Everybody gets along. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. And you can watch the game.
No waitress on the floor. Had to go to bar to order drink. Bartender didn't know how to make the drink we ordered and liquor to make was not available anyway
Nice bar granite counter top has a nice outdoor area also and food served. I only had onion rings and they where good
Went with friends for karaoke. Super friendly staff and neighborhood crowd, indoor/ outdoor seating, large selection of beers on tap.
Been coming here for years. Super cool chilll vibes place with back patio and fire pit. Awesome bartenders too.
Good beer selection, very good food. Sadly out of a lot of items today. Supply problems I'm told.
Been here 3 times for UFC fights, had a blast the entire time. Looking to make it the regular spot
It was okay the Cadillac was more expensive than I thought it was going to be and there wasn't that many people in there but we were in there around 2: 33
Food was a little pricey, but tasted good. Probably will go back when I'm in El Cajon again.
Great place to get food and drink. Has great service! They have trivia and karaoke. Fire pits. Highly recommend going there.
It was 6 PM on a Wednesday and they had 3 guys drilling behind the bar. I think they said they were working on the keg, but there was so much noise from them working, the bartender had to blast the music to try and cover it up. I asked about one of the items I ordered because it had been about 40 minutes, and I was told the bartender forgot to order it; this bit of information was shared with me 15 minutes after the first time I inquired about the status of my food because I was already waiting for a while and was told "it's coming right up". Yikes.
When your establishment isn't busy but you expect patrons to be patient with you, the least you could do is offer good customer service. For 50 bucks, there are plenty of other options you could choose for dinner and drinks. I don't recommend this spot.
Totally smoky. Cant breath. Everyone smoking on "patio" and it just wafts into to bar. Better described as a bad dive bar.
Horrible overcooked food. Waste of $. Hardly edible. Both burgers are past well done and fries are over done. The mediocre onion rings are only thing not ruined.
Go elsewhere for food. I love good bar food. This is NOOOOT it.
Friendly bartender, friendly patrons, and ample seating both inside and out - hard to ask for more. Definitely a recommended spot.
They were busy. Raiders vs Chargers. Food is good. That wait, they were busy, so it took some time. Wings and fish tacos.they were good. Beer was ice cold. Good prices.lots ot beer on tap, hence the name.
Charges average price for drinks. ~$7-8 average for most drinks. Wide and dynamic selection of craft beers (they switch to new beers any time the kegs runs out). Happy hour is great. Can be difficult to get the bar tender's attention, especially at the ends of the bar. They have a digital jukebox and are rap or heavy metal friendly.
