Excellent family place with people trained for the job… professional food and excellent customer service

Simple restaurant with great food and great service. Takeout is easy (they’re always ready fast!).

We find Maizuru to be an up and down experience. Sometimes it's great and sometimes ok. I guess it depends on the sushi guys. All in all we are repeat customers.

The service was good, but the sushi was awful. We ordered sushi and the yellowtail was generous, but we’re made by an ametutur. They fell apart on my hands, the rice was not prepared properly. The rolls were awful. I love soft shell crab rolls, but these were unrecognizable. My opinion was that these were not soft crabs at all.

We will never return.

This place was our favorite spot during lockdown and as always they never disappoint you with the great food and hospitality the eel sushi and yellow tail carpaccios are to die for the French Kiss no rice special was a mouth watering delight a great treat of you are celebrating

I have been dining here for over twenty years. The last two times I have been, the food has lost quality. And for rising prices, it should be worth the cost. I think I won't eat here for awhile. Too bad, good people.

I ordered when I was hangry so I don’t recall what I ordered but it was sixty bucks worth and I inhaled it! So delicious!

Service people are excellent, and that's about it. As far as sushi goes, no.
There are only basic staple fish, albacore, yel tail, salmon, and tuna. They're not even grade A.
So they are trying to dazzle customers with colorful rolls for the newbie to the taste. Prices are the same as others.
Try it at your risk.

The food here is good, but they automatically charge you a tip when you order from their website to pick up your own food.it' doesn't ask you, it just automatically adds a tip.this is so weird and sneaky - this definitely discouraged me from ordering online or even going to this place again at all.

Food was excellent as always. We didn’t get our vegetable tempura till half way through eating our rolls. Everyone is so nice!

This is my go-to sushi spot here in OC! Whenever I'm craving sushi, I always get take-out from here. I've never dined in but can tell the staff is very friendly & attentive to you. My usual is their Maizuru Roll (because it has cream cheese & that's a must!). My wife & I have also tried several of their other rolls, all of which didn't disappoint. Their portion sizes are great so you definitely won't stay hungry after eating. Definitely recommend trying this place out!

Where I live there is a restaurant named Shogun Habochi we go every year for my birthday and they have something called a pink Lady roll it is AMAZING and I asked if this sushi place can make it they did and it was amazing Shogun you go competition

Lunch menu has great value and the teriyaki chicken was delicious. Friendly service as well!

We were attended to quite quickly and service staffs are friendly. We went there twice in a week and ordered the same food (sashimi mainly) as they are fresh and thickly sliced. Also, as we don’t really like the tuna in US (as compared to Asia quality) they were able to accommodate and replaced it. Price is decent as well. Will recommend this place for casual dining.

We had a great experience our first time here. 6 of us ate and we all loved our meals. The service was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this establishment based on my experience.

The Tokyo Combo comes with six pieces of nigiri sushi and a California roll like this.
