7 I'm so glad that I've found Kevin! My car is very dear to me because my father passed it on to me, and he had bought it brand-new in 1966. I wanted to restore it to its original glory but I had a hard time finding a knowledgable mechanic I could trust.
These guys at Majors Aircooled are the gurus of classic VW! They were genuinely interested in my project and totally understand that my car has an irreplaceable sentimental value for me. Brought my Squareback to get it back on the road. They did all the work and after a few years of sitting from installing the engine tuning it going through the brake system and replacing the rusted pedals. Brought it back after a year they just did the bearings and it’s been fix it, get it back on the road cruise it and fix the issues as they come. Don’t try to upsell you on anything you don’t need. Very cool and genuine guys fun to be around and they get plenty of work in and out pretty quick.
These guys really knows their stuff! Test and Tune day, pulled out the dual carburetors, Some jetting and got this running perfect!
Visited Majors Air Cooled today and Kevin synced my dual carbs and got my 1971 bus running smooth! Easy to make an appointment and quick service for a very good price. They even took the time to explain all the nuances of tuning up a dual carb 1776cc bus. Thanks again Majors, I will be back!
