15 Yes I received my replacement TIPM on 18JAN2024. I have yet to install it due to the weather. I will be returning the broken one at the time of installation. I really appreciate how helpful customer service was in warranty replacement and also how fast expedient shipping was even in a winter storm that had more or less shut down West Tennessee. I do have a small issue which I'm quite sure can be taken care of professionally.
I have two (2) different R. T. A numbers therefore I need to know which R. T. A.number to use upon return. I will be awaiting your response. Thanks in advance
Quick update on my review. Just hours after I posted this review I had a representative from MAKS to contact me VIA my listed phone number. Amal (the representative) was very professional and courteous. She helped me with which R. T. A.number to use and even asked how my TIPM unit was doing. She even gave me her direct phone number in case I have any problems or questions. Now that's going above and beyond! If I ever need automotive electronics again, you can bet that MAKS is gonna be the first place I choose for availability. 5 out of 5 STARS PEOPLE!
I ordered their repair service, because after the SKIM module was damaged during an aftermarket radio install in my chrysler 200, my TIPM was apparently also damaged - causing my windshield wipers, blower motor, and horn to stop working. I sent my TIPM in for repair, got it back in promptly, and had great communication along the way. Poor design by chrysler - but great, affordable service by MAK's! Highly recommend!
I would rate Maks a ZERO if I could! The customer service lady could speak English but doesn't understand English.unbelievable! It took 4 days to get the information to send the TIPM in for rebuilding they never return messages from their system. I overnighted the TIPM was delivered at 4: 44 on 1/26/24, but receiving closes at 4: 30.unbeknownst to and never communicated. This cost me $75 extra for overnight and now they don't want to credit me the $75 and Kevin copped a huge attitude with me! Not to mention the cost I've had to absorb due to their lax attitude and unwillingness to take care of customer's needs! I should have went through GOECM, they were cheaper, but they didn't have a rebuilt one on their shelf that I could purchase if mine was unrepairable! If they don't make this right I'll never do business with them again and I'd recommend everyone to look elsewhere.seriously!
Although helpful when ordered took a while to get, customer support takes a long time to get back to you, ordered in November and truck still isn't running!
Man’s shipped the item very quickly. The TIPM was brand new with all new fuses and relays. Directions were clear and to the point. Definitely will do business with Mak’s again!
So far it worked as it was supposed too. Cheaper than buying new and faster than sending mine out to be rebuit.
Awesome company! A must know if you own a 3rd gen Ram. I purchased a used FCM and it arrived right on time. The packaging was thoughtful with lots of packing peanuts ensuring the FCM arrived safely! I will be recommending MAK's to anyone with a 3rd gen Ram.
The turn around time wasn't what I expected but they did me right. The tipm wasn't actually bad they tested it, cleaned it and shipped it back, told me there wasn't anything wrong with it and refunded me the difference between an inspection and the rebuild. Solid company will use again if the need arises.
Really easy. Ordered and received sooner than I thought it was way cheaper than the dealer considering I got a rebuilt one and everything works perfect. Was already programmed and all only paid 800 considering a dealer can get you out at 1800 that’s for the part and programming I’d say MAKS is a no brainer it’s a easy install made easier by the guide and videos they give you to help install 10/10 would recommend to everyone
MAKS TIPM Rebuilders, is definitely the go to company when TIPM is the topic. From the beginning when I reached them out thru email, following up with phone calls, and also assuring that I was ordering the right parts MAKS was there with me. Also the shipping was very quick and they have many options for deliveries at our convenience not like other companies with only one options. I highly recommend MAKS TIPM to everyone who is looking for this parts. Also the warranty options are totally affordable and recommend it. Since I placed my order I received a courtesy email and the entire process when was packed, shipped, in transit, and also delivery. I loved the tracking system in place.
I couldn’t locate the TIPM I needed anywhere. After finding MAK’s I found the one I needed, and I swear it was on my doorstep 2 days later. It looked brand new and worked as it should. Thank you MAK’s!
I received the tipm I ordered for my 2016 Ram 2500 after installing it everything works perfect. Had good, friendly customer service.
Ordered used replacement TIPM connectors. They were clean and solved my broken clip issues. Highly recommend them!
Recieved what I wanted. I had an issue with my TIPM and MAK's fixed it under warranty as promised.
I've delt with MAKs a few times. First was for a ECM for my 2011 chrysler town and country van. The ECM I bought as rebuilt. Foward ahead a month.started having issues with windows and door locks working on there own. I contacted MAKS and they said it was my TIPM. I sent it to them for repair. 2 weeks later I get TIPM back and install it just as there directed me to. Oh during the ecm and original TIPM repair ther always replied back to my emails. Now having same issues and chrysler dealer says my ECM is bad. I emailed MAKS again and I must be invisible now they haven't replied to my inquiry about warranty on ECM and now they don't answer calls or emails. 90 day warranty on ecm. Van sit in garage almost 2 months and don't seems like there interested in any warranty. They got $1000 for ecm and tipm from me and I now sit with van still down. I'd never go with MAKS again there right there for a sale but if you have problems with anything FORGET them helping on warranty on there parts. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
