I love the lifeguard at Tower 3 because he saved my life on October 8,2023 around 6: 00 pm to 7: 00 pm. He is a good man.

Took my little one on beach adventure! We wanted to discover a new spot. We got lucky finding a parking spot because it was crowded The walk to the beach from parking lot is about 1/2 mile. Pack lightly or carry a wagon. Place has a great vibe and remember to clean after yourselves.

There was too much dog poop and not enough parking. Aside from this, the wildlife is absolutely amazing! The weather was good, even on a cloudy day. We had a lot of fun!

The lagoon itself is not for swimming (it’s disgusting) but after a short walk you get to the ocean and you can swim there. The portable pots are disgusting. Not a lot of parking too.

It doesn't have anything but you can see it, only if you walk down the alley that takes you to a beach. Nice place for a walk.

If you want to put yourself in a joyful while peaceful location, here it is.

Malibu Lagoon beach facing ocean one side, and facing lagoon the other side, you get to experience the cool Pacific ocean and maybe surf a little bit, while you can meditate and chill a little bit looking at the lagoon and the mountain.

Me and my family spent a quality afternoon here, from now on this is a place maked with out beautiful memories.

Beautiful place where few people come. Well worth a short walk to the beach and a look over the sea. You can observe birds in the lagoon.

Nice little beach, far from what I expected. However, it remains on a human scale with a family spirit.

Malibu Lagoon is a fantastic destination for spending quality time with family, earning it a solid four-star rating. Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Malibu, this natural gem offers a serene and captivating setting that is ideal for creating lasting memories.

The highlight of Malibu Lagoon is undoubtedly its stunning beach, which provides a welcoming playground for both children and adults. The soft sand and gentle waves set the stage for building sandcastles, playing beach games, or simply soaking up the sun. It's a delightful spot that will keep the whole family entertained.

The lagoon itself is home to a diverse ecosystem, offering opportunities to discover various bird species and marine life. Exploring the wetlands and estuaries is an educational and eye-opening experience for children and adults alike, shedding light on the importance of preserving these precious natural environments.

While Malibu Lagoon offers excellent facilities and amenities, it's worth noting that it can get quite crowded at times. The popularity of this destination means that it attracts a significant number of visitors, particularly during peak seasons or weekends. While this may detract slightly from the tranquility and serenity of the surroundings, it's still a testament to the allure of the location.

Despite the occasional crowds, the tranquil atmosphere and scenic beauty of Malibu Lagoon remain intact, providing a sense of escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a place where families can unwind, connect with nature, and appreciate the stunning beauty of Southern California's coastline.

Additionally, Malibu Lagoon's proximity to other attractions in the area, such as the iconic Malibu Pier and nearby hiking trails, offers additional opportunities for exploration and adventure.

Very clean considering our recent storms.
It’s a great day trip to the lagoon and beach at the end of the trail. If you get bored there is the Malibu Creek Village across the street.

I know it’s a long shot but I lost my wallet yesterday on 4/20/23 around 4pm either walking up or down the stairs to the beach (from the parking lot), it’s a black Calvin Klein wallet with my cards in there. If you see it please keep the 47 dollars in cash in there and just send back the wallet to my address on my license. It would be so much appreciated!
