Mama's On Washington Square reviews
16 The food is excellent, the drinks are ok but the bathroom is really small and the line to go to the bathroom is uncomfortable because there is no space to line up and you need to go through the kitchen in order to get there.
The biggest confusion was about tipping, you can pay with credit card but you can’t tip, they don’t even ask if you would like to leave a tip or anything like that, very confusing considering that the service industry in United States is based around tips.
All in all, its a great breakfast but they have a lot of space for improvement.
Enough breakfast options. Very delicious to start the day with energy.
Family business, unique decor and central location. It has a small terrace ideal for sunny days. Self-service.
Ask about the smoothies!
Great breakfast! I arrived just before 8 and got in line. I got to it quickly. You order at the counter and are given a number, then you can sit down and the food is brought to you. The omelet and French toast were both delicious. Next time I'm in SF I'll go again!
Way to expensive, coffee awful and the service is terrible, it looks like you bother more than being a coffee. People from outside San Francisco and tourists, don’t visite this place, overrated, expensive, small and dirty.
Your life is now dominated by social media, and so you need to show that you went to Mama's because it's cool. Sufficient food, dirty place bordering on legality, horror bathroom.in Italy such a place would be closed. But continue with your fake lives on social media.
Cute place! A little rigid in the sense that no changes are allowed but everything is good.
It was very delicious, just the way I like it. I was happy to try the jam and omelet that received positive reviews. It was a lot for me and I could only eat half of it. They kindly provided me with a take-home box and bag. Although it was around 11 o'clock on a weekday, I was able to get in without lining up.
Super delicious breakfast, we visited this small restaurant based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. According to locals, this is the best breakfast in San Francisco.
There are usually long queues here in the morning, we were lucky and didn't have to wait. I like the ambience and everything else is pretty consistent here - rendered again.
We paid $44.75 for the Northwest & old fashioned pan cake breakfast.
We recommend.
Excellent and plentiful breakfast, really good omelette. They provide water by default. Really friendly and welcoming staff. The food was very good, we recommend it.
Food is delicious, we had the Chicken grilled Sandwich and French toast mix, be prepared for a long wait before taking a table.
This is my favorite breakfast spot in the world, hands down. The service is great, the ambiance is great and homey, and the line is worth it. But the monte cristo man, the MONTE CRISTO is out of this world. And the jam. You really cannot ask for a better sandwich than this. If I could I’d made the 6 hour drive up for this sandwich alone. Beautiful and atmospheric classy-diner feel. Gorgeous location for outdoor dining. Yummy omelets, potatoes, and free coffee refills!
I liked the system they have:
First you arrive and order the food and pay (If it's your first time there they are very patient when ordering and they explain the menu to you) you wait for a table, but while you order you are watching how they prepare all the dishes and everything looks delicious! The service you get is super friendly. I recommend it, everything we ordered was delicious! I would definitely go back. By the way, 4 blocks away is pier 39 and you can see the sea lions.
I've been waiting since morning to eat this. Waiting seems to be running for 30 quarters.however. Honestly, if you ask, is it worth waiting in line to eat? No!
I want to answer Eggs Benedict too. You can eat this much in Korea, so I decided to just enjoy it. The guy behind me is very noisy. I don't know if it's the owner or the chef. The voice of that man is much louder than that of the guest.
The structure of the bathroom is very, very small. However, it is quite clean. I was hesitant to go because I had seen reviews that the restrooms in Gugilpyeong were very dirty. If I don't go, I think I'm going to die, so I went in with a deep breath. It's a space of about 1m tall and 70cm wide, but it was a structure that would have been fruitful.
I think I was enlightened,
The area around here is a pictorial, so please don't eat here and take a lot of pictures.
A good breakfast (pantagruelic depending on what is ordered) in a mythical place.which still lives a little on its reputation.a downside on the service side.not too cheerful
