Mammoth Mountain RV Park reviews
13Great place and customer service made the process super easy, woman on the phone was super nice
When backpacking, camping, and ski bumming in Mammoth, we always stop here to buy a shower. The woman at the office is very kind and friendly. The showers are $10 a person, which is well worth it. Facilities are clean and all functional - hot water works great, water pressure good, etc.
Dirty crowded bathrooms. Packed in campsites on tar next to hospital where huge fans run all day and night. One of the worst campgrounds in the country. The woman in the front office is one of the most dense people I have ever talked to. We had a campsite reserved for almost a year and they gave it away to someone else without telling us until we got there. We ended up with the worst site possible. The owner was mean about it. Not apologetic at all. I would never choose this place.
Honestly, this place was amazing! Staff was great! The snow conditions were pretty crazy this weekend. They had a tractor working night and day to keep up. The tractor saw us getting ready to leave early in the morning and helped clear our space for us! The hot tub was super nice during the storm. Bathrooms super clean! They had a cleaning staff that kept the bathrooms super clean. Definitely recommend!
$150 a night for what feels like a slanted box store parking lot! Prices almost doubled in a couple years. They’re taking advantage of being the only option. Treat yourself to a hotel instead. I’d give it only one star for being a money grab but the second star is because I’ve stayed their and it is a convenient location. I won’t be paying $150 though.
Besides communication, this park was great. I would come again now that I know how it all works. Showers were great to have, they keep them clean also.
The place was wonderful, very good maintained, Jaime the groundskeeper was delightful to deal with, he addressed all our concerns.
Extremely poor customer service. Called front desk atleast a dozen times, left messages regarding an upcoming reservation. No return call. Oh well, take that $85 and buy yourselves a desk clerk for 30 minutes.
I certainly agree with some other reviews that this is just a mediocre RV park which over-charges for what is delivered. The site we were put in (partial hookup as FHU's were totally booked) is a literal "park between the yellow lines" asphalt parking lot. The living space was a step off the scraggly asphalt which angled pretty steeply downhill, and certainly had me chocking extra cautiously. Our fire pit was filled with the previous tenant's trash and cigarette butts. All that said, felt more like a rest stop than an RV park. The full hookups, on the other side, were certainly in a better more wooded area, so that may be where the value is at. On another note, experienced really good customer service and the park is nicely proximal to the town and neighboring activities.
One entire row had no TV cable Did not tell us.they have no plans to fix it We had no TV for 5 weeks when in there expecting to watch some news Oh I guess not. If you stay there you have about a 10 to 20% chance of not having cable Otherwise what've been 5 star.
Don't go here on a Tuesday as this office seems to be closed even though the hours online state they are. Can't check it, get propane, use the dump station.
Just got back from a 3 day stay. We will come again however they could improve by calling back after you leave a message, staff the office more as they are never there, get a better wifi service as well as clean the spa more frequently as there was hair and band-aids floating in it. Also the power went out and after speaking with the camp host about it was told it was scheduled outage. Im ok with that but if it was scheduled a text email or something would be nice. Not paying for 50amp service and not getting it. Also right when we went to leave the water went out. Other than those issues it was good. Love having the amenities of mammoth.
