Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego reviews
3 Context: Stayed her for 2 nights while attending a conference. Someone else was paying.
Positives: Impressive entrances. Comfortable space. Room window opened.
Negatives: Pretty basic shower. Everything about the hotel was super expensive.
Notes: Interesting views over the naval base - I've not seen aircraft carriers in real life before.
Summary: If you can afford to stay here, it's probably a good choice.
At the end of September 2023, I stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt while attending a conference. The hotel is close to the airport. At the end of the day, we could step out back and we were right on the bay and Seaport Village. The staff was amazing and I would like to compliment Ian and Eric for assisting me!
Recently stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego for a conference at the nearby convention center.
As other reviews have commented, the room that I had showed some wear on the blinds, chips on furniture and bits of furniture coming off. That being said, nothing was a deal breaker but below of what you’d expect from a Grand Hyatt.
Club lounge has no made to order options for breakfast however there is a good range of hot and cold options so for me it was an issue. Plenty of seating in the lounge and there was never an issue to find a table.
The gym was very large with a greater selection of equipment that you’d typically see at a grand Hyatt however due to the sheer number of rooms, it was always very busy when I worked out.
Staff were helpful and attentive throughout my stay.
Overall I’d be happy to return on my next visit to San Diego.
