Mancini's Sleepworld Tracy

I stopped into this store to look at a mattress; the woman working there was extremely rude and insulted me unprovoked.

I've had a few really good and positive purchases there including furniture as well as at least two mattresses BUT recently I made a warranty claim since my 3 year old mattress is sagging horribly and has been killing my back and causing all sorts problems. I was told that they'd send an inspector out within a few weeks. I got a call sooner than that and the inspector from Integrated Bedding Group came out and immediately said he saw the problem and while he was doing the required test and taking pictures he was telling me, in detail, all the ways a warranty replacement was valid and a "no brainer" in this case and how he knew right away walking into the room. All requirements were met and other than the sagging, it was in pristine condition and supported on their furniture with a base bought from them. Well, imagine my surprise when I got an email from Integrated Bedding Group saying that it was "within manufacturers guidelines" and the request was declined. I was even more surprised when I called the company and was told "if we've done your inspection then we are done, goodbye" on their voicemail message.

I've contacted Sealy, Mancini's Sleepworld, and the inspection company (at multiple emails each) giving them the opportunity to rectify this ridiculous situation before I file a suit in small claims court and the only response I've had is Mancini's fraud inspection company (Integrated Bedding Group) saying it's not their problem and a few responses from Sealy saying a local representative who is working with Mancini's is going to contact me. Still no contact (2 weeks) so I'm am going to have to proceed with filing in court it seems. They don't appear to honor warranties AT ALL and have set up quite the racket to ensure they never have to replace a mattress so I would never recommend them or buy from them again. A 10 year warranty means NOTHING if the company offering it is dishonest and conducts business like this.

Service in the store was great.

Delivery was delayed however. It was supposed to be on Friday, now it was supposed to be Monday afternoon, and now maybe Monday evening.

Bought a few beds here now. Mike was fantastic. Like having your granddad help you out. Felt very at home. Definitely will be back again.

The last mattress we purchased was from Mancini's Sleepworld over 15 years ago. It was a complete bedroom set with a Beauty Rest king size box spring and mattress set. After 15+ years, the mattress began to sag and show wear, but we kept the furniture and box spring. We returned to Mancini's five days ago and was introduced to a very pleasant and patient salesman, Michael Long. We explained what we were looking for in a mattress, and he showed us a few options. He noted that we were still listed in the computer from our previous purchase, and back then we paid $900 for the Beauty Rest king size mattress. Our new Sleepworld Hybrid Infinity Cool mattress cost $1850 including tax and recycle fee with free delivery. Mike was humorous and made the shopping experience very pleasant.

Now for the review of delivery and of the actual mattress: We purchased the mattress on a Friday, and it was delivered on Sunday as promised. However, they stated they could not remove my old mattress at that time because they did not have room in the truck. They offered to put the mattress in my garage, which is quite filled up with my two dogs, my car, and other belongings. We settled for it to be put in my back yard until they could pick up on Monday. I called the store and asked them to arrange pick-up late in the afternoon due to my work schedule. Delivery called me later and did not get the message and wanted to pick it up between 9am-11am. They finally picked it up at 8: 30pm after several calls stating they are delayed.

Now for my review of the Hybrid Infinity Cool 12" mattress: I was not expecting my new mattress to be delivered i bag rolled up. I was instructed to wait between 1 to 2 hours while it "expanded. " Also, we noticed it had an odor from the memory foam, which has since subsided. What we also noticed is that it is very difficult to sit on the edge of the bed since you wind up sliding. I know that the mattress is suppose to have edge support, but it does not help while sitting on the edge of the bed. Otherwise, we like the comfort of the new mattress and it is a great improvement from our previous mattress. The mattress is firm (except for the 6" edge border) and gives us good support without noticing movement when our partner rolls over or gets out of bed. I hope this honest review is helpful.

Wanted them to warranty our fairly new mattress.after a couple of months someone showed up to take pictures. It clearly showed they needed to replace our $3000 mattress. They said it was all in allowed specifications. They had manipulated the photos. Will never deal with them again.

I have been shopping at Mancini's in Tracy for over 10 years and never had no issues or problems. They got the best service "Mike", can't be beat prices and great quality mattresses and furniture! I have to admit I did shop around, I went to Costo and Price Firm and I always find my way back to Mancinis. Dont waste your time shopping around, go see Mike he will take great care of you!

Mike was so genuinely knowledgeable about the products and helped us find the perfect adjustable frame/mattress combo! He doesn't try to short you if your money, he explains everything down to the wire so you know what you get and why! Great experience highly reccomended.

Just purchased a mattress at Mancini's in Tracy. James took good care of us. He took time to ask a lot of questions about what we were looking for and what sleep problems we were having. He then directed us to several models based on the information we provided. It turns out the models James suggested addressed all of our concerns. Once we settled on a mattress James was able to work out a price we were comfortable with. We have only had the mattress a few days, but so far my back is very happy. Really quick and easy process! James gets you what you for reasonable prices. He goes out of his way to make sure you're happy, and the team there was very helpful when I had to cancel one purchase and come back for a different choice. The mattress selection could be better, but they had everything I was looking for, and I recommend them. They also use Synchrony Bank, which is phenomenal for deferred interest options. Mancini's also takes away your old mattress. Great store!
