Mangan Park reviews
11This park has a really nice spread. Archary grills water fountain basketball hoops play area. They have a pool too and it's a usually decent clean and the people. 3 stars.
Great local neighborhood park. Swimming pool, playground, soccer field, basketball court, archery, baseball field, picnic area.
Excellent spot for archers. There are six hay bales set up. Also acts as a soccer field without goals.
Fun for archery. We were the only ones there for a while and then 2 more people came out to shoot. Not much shade unless you are off to the side. The haybales are not fresh but it's free and there is easy free parking.
I've been going to this park for most of my 40 years, from playing wiffleball on the baseball diamond to flying kites in the field to learning and practicing archery on the archery range.the only thing I haven't done at this park is shooting in the rifle range. It's a multi purpose neighborhood park with the afore mentioned facilities, a public pool, playground and BBQs/picnic tables. Usually crowded on the weekends so make sure to get there early if you're planning to use the tables or BBQs.
I have played at this park as a kid. I still live in the same neighborhood with my kids and they love it. I think they should add a second basketball court though.
It is a nice place to bring the kids in the summer to the pool. However now there is alot transient people living in the park and make a mess out of everything. We hope they clean it up and respect
Grew up in this neighborhood. This has always been a neighborhood gem and unknown to people that don't live in this area.
This park is great. I recently got into archery, bought my first recurve bow, arrows and other starting gear. Its great they have haystacks here to practice shooting. I've only been here a few times, bummer I dont see anyone else using this archery range. I think the next closest range is Discovery park and you have to pay to get in there.
You are right next two the airport so you will see planes frequently, but that isn't a problem.
Its a nicely maintained and quiet park tucked away inside a safe neiborhood. Lots of casual dog walkers thru out the day. It has a nice enough playground for the smaller children and a basketball court.
