Maple Leaf Donuts, San Jose CA

I loved it because it tasted luxurious, delicious, and soft. This place is close to the house where I live, so I think I will go there more often.

Moved to thos neighborhood not long ago and there are 3 donut places within my reach here.
This one may not have the fanciest decor etc but in my 65 years of professional donut eating experience it has the best tasting donuts with that reach radius.
Plus customer service from the lovely ladies who work there is outstanding. Don't judge this shop from the exterior A+ donuts A+ service. Take it from "the donut pro".

This is my first time going here, and the two gentleman who helped me out were very professional, there ham and cheese croissant was pretty good. I recommend this place

Been going to Maple Leaf for the past 30 years and feel they are the best donuts in the Bay. Every bite is like heaven!

Great donuts! Light, spongy and just sweet enough to dissolve on my tongue without making it sticky.

A winner of multiple regional awards for donut excellence over decades, out-of-area friends I have introduced to the place regularly ask me to get them some when I visit them. Truly memorable quality.fluffy but not excessively airy.

This is truly the most lovely place. The husband/wife owners are just fabulous. They remember their customers and their orders and they have A LOT to remember.

The BEST donuts in the bay. Most donut shops do one type of donut well, every donut here is the best version of that donut. I'm particularly fond of the cinnamon twists, maple bars, and cake donuts.

Their croissants are AMAZING! As are their bagels.

Need a breakfast sandwich? Best in the bay, hands down. So delicious.

Need a croissant or bagel deli sandwich? Check and amazing!

Need a Thai iced tea or vietnamese coffee? Check.

This place is just sheer joy and perfection.

While the business and owners practice COVID safety exceptionally well, I have noticed the customers are not as respectful which is always unfortunate to see.

The doughnuts are huge! They were still warm, and the service is great. We even saw an employee from another doughnut place there!

Standard donut shop. It's a little dingy but it's old. I don't see the older couple that used to run the place anymore. The youngsters that took over have added breakfast sandwiches to the menu. Maybe that's good.

Awesome. Love this place. Even when they dont remember your name, they do it with a smile and they ask. Even behind a mask. They are the models for small business.

And their donuts are bomb also.

Friendly staff & great selection of breakfast items made to order along with fresh doughnuts. Come early or they could run out of your favorites!

Used to LOVE this place. They had the BEST damn donuts for miles (yes, better than Stans!). New ownership (and a missing sign) has led to mixed results. Mostly good, but a few times the donuts were just ok. Still worth the stop.

Good quick breakfast spot for croissant sandwiches. $4 for egg and cheese and up from there for ham, etc. Also lots of donuts.
