Marbella Lane Vacation Rental

I was unhappy with my stay due to a few reasons, a rat trap in the kitchen directly by the table in plain view, the couch was very dirty as well as the rug it was on. I value cleanliness when I stay places. I find it very inconvenient to have to cover up furniture in order to sit on it after I’ve paid to have the place cleaned. When I called, they did come out and remove the rat trap, but refused to refund the cleaning fee; and did not attempt to clean the rug nor the couch. If there had been a rat in the trap who did they expect to tend to it? This home is located in Pacifica California

I recently rented a luxury Estate from Marbella Lane and could not have had a better experience. The house was perfect: well situated, clean, and exactly as described and photographed. The team was a pleasure to work with as well. Their concierge worked with us in advance to try and find a private chef, and when we had an issue with the hot tub, they sent someone out immediately to investigate. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a luxury experience in Hawaii.

This company does a phenomenal job accommodating vacation Rental, they work very hard to accommodate the needs of all those who work with them. They always go the extra mile ti maximize communication!

Marbella lane made booking, checking in, and checking out very easy. Once we checked in, they remained in contact with us throughout our 9 day stay. We needed their help once during our stay and they solved the issue immediately and efficiently, and I will definitely use them again, for our next trip!

This might be one of the best
places I've booked. Marbella Lane Team were able to accommodate my family and friends on very short notice after a previous host cancellation. It was a gift from the university’s location is perfect, and the views of the bay Queen Mary, and the surrounding community are beautiful It is exactly how you see it in the pictures. The space is very clean and nicely decorated. It has a spacious floor plan plenty of privacy rooms and bathrooms. Check-in procedures were easy
and the communication with staff was great Plenty of shopping, restaurants, and food trucks close by. Starbucks is a 5 min walk. I will happily book again when I'm in the area.
If you are considering place in L. A, it's worth the slightly longer drive (20 mins depending on traffic) to be here You will be thankful you did!

I booked my first Airbnb house almost 9 years ago, when my wife was still my girl friend. Since then, we have been to many short term rental properties and hotel rooms. Not considering any special life event such as a successful proposal, the first Disney trip, or a very profitable Las Vegas night, the best living experience is definitely in our own short term rental property staged and managed by Marbella Lane. I knew one of the founders before I became their client, who often tells us how competitive the short term rental market is, and how well they have to do to make their managed properties stand out to attract guests. However, based on our own travelling experiences, no other accommodation provider is even close. To be fair, I believe there should absolutely be places which make Marbella Lane think "the market is competitive", but I guess they are probably too expensive to show up when we were searching on Airbnb.

Besides the living experiences in our property, we are happy about the cost and return as well. Thanks to their long-term loyal relationship to design and staging companies, we got a very good price for the interior design and the materials. The bookings cannot be complained even when the entire world is short of money nowadays. Their local property management team is very helpful, and the rest of the team is amazing as well, e.g. The accounting team and the customer service team. We are firmly reassured that our property is in good hands.

I just came by another review about Marbella Lane's cancellation policy. I'd say that it's the property owner who makes the final decision. I once had one group of guests who complained about a neighbor doing construction work. When Marbella Lane told me about this, I asked them to allow the guests to cancel all the remaining days momentarily. Marbella Lane's cancellation policy is to protect the property owners. As a property owner, you don't want them to sacrifice your income to please the guests without your permission, right?

Marbella has managed my property for over a year now. My property needed a lot of work to get operating which initially was a little off putting but Marbella was totally right as they greatly improved my returns.

Overall, I'm really happy with their services. Occasionally, we have to work through some issues but that's to be expected with home ownership. I only wish I had more properties for them to help me manage.

You cannot 100% not manage your property if you want the best results though. If you see something could be improved, you need to work with the team to get it fixed.

Their pricing algorithm they use and built-in house is better than what built into ABB. It's really smart in how they do it.

The team has been really friendly to me even though the start was a bit difficult (mostly bc the project was difficult), after that it's been a pleasure.

Marbella Lane Vacation Rental was a great choice for my stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I appreciated the attention to detail and the efforts put into keeping the room spotless. The overall atmosphere was inviting and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the area!

Worst experience! DO NOT rent from this company! First, the “host” is not the name who appears on the reservation. It was difficult to understand whom to contact when problems arose. Be prepared for weird and robotic responses. Second, when I arrived after the check-in time, the house was dirty and unsanitary. The beds had dirty sheets and wet towels were behind bathroom doors. Nothing had been cleaned. If I had not called their 1-800 number, the house would have stayed in this unacceptable condition. The worst part was we were potentially exposed to COVID. Marbella Lane was negligent. They had no idea who would walk through their front door-a person with a compromised immune system or a preexisting condition. Yet, they allowed us to enter an unsafe environment. After waiting 5.5 hours, the house was cleaned. However, they did not provide any necessities- toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. We bought our own. Halfway through our trip, someone dropped some supplies off. Third, the pool and spa were unusable. The heat pump broke a few weeks back. After asking them to fix, they refused repeatedly! Last, their only compensation was one night. I asked for the cleaning fees to be waived and for the pool to be fixed. They said no, no, and no! After everything, most companies do more. Unfortunately, this company does the bare minimum. They put profit over people’s safety! Disgusting!

BEWARE of the cancellation policy. The policy requires 60 days to cancel with no exceptions. I attempted to cancel a booking within hours of booking a rental and it would not be honored, even under the extenuating circumstances I presented. I tried to work out an alternative as amicably as possible, but there was no way around it. If there is an ounce of uncertainty with your travel plans, I would advise you to not work with this company.
