This was my first time at Mardi Gras Tuesday. My family has eaten here before. We wanted to support black owned businesses with Black History Minth starting tomorrow. So, they only offer chicken and waffles for brunch on Saturday-Sunday at certain times. We all wanted that, but today is Wednesday. So, we asked if we could have that anyway. You just never know. He said who wanted it.we all did.so, he hooked it up. Nice dude. He gave me owner vibes. But anyway, he made my day! It was good and hot. We all ordered the same thing. The chicken was well seasoned, large pieces and not bready.if you know what I mean. Waffle was ok and easy to eat with a small amount of syrup. The red wine he served me was pretty good. Anyway, I loved the decorations and the beautiful colors. They had a high chair for my nephew. He got tenders and fries. It opened around 12 pm. There were not a lot of people here. I hope to return someday when I come back to LA.

We came in excited to try some good lousiana style cuisine. We asked for a table for 2 with at least 3 open tables that just needed to be reset and we stood there waiting for 10 minutes till the third person we told finally reset a table and sat us. The food was flavorless. I had the Catfish Po'Boy and my partner the Shrimp Po'Boy, barely seasoned and just underwhelming. The only seasoned thing was the fries and that is not what I came to experience. Will not be retruning especially if 2 people will ignore us at the door.

I order a few items, including my chicken sliders. I never received the sliders even though I was charged for it.

The po boy was large but over salted and the oysters didn’t taste fresh. The drinks weren’t strong, too sweet, and jalapeño margarita wasn’t spicy.

The snapper was ok, shrimp was tasty and fresh. The cornbread was the star of the show, fresh made and fluffy.

Overall wouldn’t return

My wife and I loved Mardi Gras Tuesday—even though the name translates to Tuesday Fat Tuesday ;-). The restaurant offers many of the Cajun/Creole standards we know and love, and everything we tasted was excellent. Jambalaya is one of my favorites and MGT's is quite good. I prefer drier versions of the dish, like MGT's, and this one is spicy and delicious. We have far too few Cajun restaurants nearby, so MGT is worth the trip.

We took my daughter here for her 24th birthday, and Honey, they did not disappoint! The owners are fun and friendly, the waiter was great, and the food! We got a table full of appetizers. Char broiled oysters, wings, shrimp and crab cakes. We got gumbo (the real deal) and a Louisiana pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious, and we are from New Orleans, so we know good food! Please try this place, I know you will love it. We had a great time and Mardi Gras Tuesday owes me nothing! I will be back soon!

Tried this place tonight and will for sure be back! We had the shrimp and grits and the jumbalya spring rolls. Amazing.

Shrimp ettoufffe and the catfish bites are my favorites. The service is so warm and inviting.

I like that they don't serve pork, but they need to season their food. It was kind of bland.

I go here often. I was a little disappointed that the owner did not acknowledge that we were there. I’ve been there several times. I’ve bought several of my friends and family there and he’s normally pretty good about letting us know he sees us, but this time he never came to the table he never said hi nothing even though they were busy I felt a hi would have been nice. Food was good. Robert who is the jack of alllll trades made sure we were taking care off. Food was good. Live music was excellent.

I wouldn't say it was delicious but not terrible and I was really hungry. There wasn't enough sauce on it (see photo). Luckily I got a cole slaw on the side. I just dumped that in there. Staff was nice but the floor was sticky. Next small street at Panda express, turn right and free parking on the left. If you want to go there and try it.

Everything here is on point service, food drinks. Never had a bad experience and Keith the owner or Manager always offer nothing but the best 100%

We almost walked past the restaurant, luckily only almost. That evening there was live music, really great. The food is very good, we have tried various specialties that were recommended to us. Especially good were the scalloped oysters.

The atmosphere was great! There was live music. Our group started with the wings, hush puppies, catfish bites & crab cake bites. Our main courses included shrimp & grits, jambalaya, pasta, e'toffee, shrimp Mac & cheese. For dessert, we split the beignet fingers & peach cobbler egg rolls with ice cream. All of the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the beignt fingers were heavy, doughy & under cooked.
There was one bartender that kept touching his nose with his fingers; luckily, we didn't order from the bar.

Mardi Gras Tuesday has a nice vibe to it. We went to celebrate our son's birthday as he loves it here! I would just like a wider variety of fish, but then that wouldn't necessarily fit in w/the food type so I still have 5stars.

OMFG! I stumbled across this place searching for crab cakes and crawfish e’touffee and when I say this place is a gold mine! It was live music playing all the jazz hits! Super friendly staff! CJ was my server and was soo attentive and fast. I could write a book about this place but I’m drinking their stellar drinks right now so I’ll leave you all with this…I feel like this place should be #1 in LA period

There's no other way to say it: this restaurant is superb. We've eaten here a few times (which will be many more times in the future, I assure you!) and each time, the food was fantastic, tasty, beautifully presented and so delicious; the service was excellent; and the atmosphere was casual and homey. The live jazz on weekend nights adds to the atmosphere.

I hate to applaud it so ardently because my wonderful little neighborhood restaurant may soon be flooded with diners.but I can't help it. Eating at Mardi Gras Tuesday is a sheer delight.

Kudos to all who are part of this divine culinary experience.

Food looked amazing. Great customer service. Food lacked quality and seasonings were either too much or simply cooked wrong. Owner remade our meal but at that point no longer trusted it. Not worth going.

It's good, just not sure why it's so expensive! Paid $18+ for veggie jambalaya:/ Portion was regular sized too, so not like I was getting more than a serving and had leftovers. Seems overpriced for some rice, spices, beans, and little bit of mixed veggies.
