Margaret S. Hayward Playground reviews
15Just went to shoot 100 shots from the outside, in the rain, with a brand new ball, for the first time in 5 yrs- which excuses my extremely uncharacteristic poor percentage.
Went there with my son's class after the SF symphony and they had a great time. It's also got a rec center, waterfountains and restrooms. My son has been here before with a friend and likes it. I saw a lot for kids to do here and there are a few picnic tables so you can bring a lunch there too. There was a lady with a small dog but I don't know how friendly the staff is to them.
Two tennis courts here that are walk-ons. It does get busy sometimes but I get lucky sometimes and am able to get a court immediately.
Beautiful park and basketball courts are nice and lit up. Lights are automatic and do go off at closing time which was 10pm I believe. Plenty of street parking and overall nice area.
There is so much to climb on here. If you want to tire the kids out and enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the beach definitely come here. There is a little beach across the way for the kids and dogs to play at. It does get windy over there so bring a sweatshirt. There are food trucks. We didn't try them though. Definitely worth the trip across the bay.
Really great park / playground for your 3+ yo kiddo. The older ones would probably like the fields and courts.
Had oldest Grandson's Graduation Celebration
Very nice Doggy friendly with lots of ooen space
You can see a lttle of nature's goodness Rabbits some other prairie rodent
Your children can play without obstruction
I felt safety for the kids Great job San Ramon Parks and Recreation
Surroundings area may give a sketchy vibe at first (at least it did when we went to drop off a second grader) but the fenced in area is spectacular and felt safer than it initially appeared - looking forward to bringing the kindergartner next time so they can play a while
Lovely, nice place to take your kids or family to play at playground or watch local kids play soccer games. Little restaurants and stores for goodies like ice cream to eat while playing are within walking distance. It closes around 10pm I believe, open around day light. I consider it safe for kids, not really any weirdos around or drug activities happening. I recommend for kids to check out the nice playground? ? ️️
Very nice park unfortunately you cannot do nothing with the homeless in San Francisco other than that we had a good time
Very colorful. Wonderful exercise for the little ones. Great for sitting and reading or thinking.
Modern playground with a large cement slide and a net climbing apparatus that is fun for bigger kids.
Beautiful park, from the restrooms To the playground, soccer field and basketball courts. A Must go to park
Beautiful diversity
Collage of ages
Too much plastic; where have natural surfaces gone?
Love the basketball court all the kids in the neighborhood come its just not the best location, but if your looking for a great time wheter its at the basketball court, soccer field, or the playground this is where to come.
