Marie Callender's Restaurant & Bakery

The pie tasted a little raw. French apple I think it’s called not very good. The topping was a LOT of brown sugar. We pre-ordered a few pies and they were not ready. Had to make a change based on what they had. Not sure why they ask you to pre-order.

We go frequently to this Marie Callender’s and the food is absolutely amazing. They were quick even though they are short handed. They are friendly and welcoming. My favorite dish would have to be the chicken and broccoli pasta.

Could have been better. We arrived at opening were seated and noticed the floor carpet was dirty. Also we questioned the eggs they seemed to be powdered not real eggs no flavor. The positive was the waitress was pleasant and service was fast.

Ordered my Thanksgiving pies. We bought a apple pie for that day, it was the best pie. The crust was delicious and the filling wasn't too sweet nor too sour, just perfect. Can't wait for Thanksgiving to try the other 2 we ordered.

I slice of pice costs $ 5.00. A whole pie costs $15.00,8 slices per pie? O ly problem you cannot slice your own pie and eat it there. I don't get it greed fueled food.

Great staff, very helpful and kind. Chicken pot pie is still good after all these years. And kids eat free Tuesdays and Saturdays

I like everything about Marie Callender's. The food is tasty and the portions were perfect The corn bread with butter is always a treat. And piece of pie for dessert was fabulous. German chocolate pie, The best.

Always a delight and the food is fresh. I ordered the strip steak and it was substituted for another equally great cut. The mashed potatoes were so tasty. And I covered the squash in garlic from my steak and made the squash so good.

Very nice breakfast experience! Everything deliciously made and the staff was outstanding. I have always liked Marie Calendars for their pies, dinners and breakfast

The service was fast and friendly. We called the order in so the wait wasn't very long. They got the order correct and went over everything before we left. Once home the food was still quite warm (except the cornbread). Everything tasted great. Five people ate with no complaints.

Their menu has some new items and they are really good. Plenty of food for the price.the onion rings were the best. They now have some 2fer options as well. Good eats

Spoiled coffee creamer, received wrong order, received what I actually ordered poorly cooked, charged for initial item which was more expensive than what i had actually ordered. It wasn’t a pleasant experience I won’t be returning.

Very good restaurant, I purchased 2 pies and the buy 4 get 4 free muffins. I asked for the Fresh Strawberry Pie, they gave me a cream one, Im sorry, maybe I should of watched the server more carefully. The Pie was not good to me, the cream was too sweet and not what we wanted or ordered. The Cherry Pie was good, but was dry and not as flavorful as they usually are. Ordered the Lemon Zing muffins, received 'one' from the case, she had to go get more, which I realized when I got home that she just gave me 3 plain muffins with a bit of 'Cream Cheese' frosting, not one bit of lemon flavor in the muffin or frosting as advertised. Very disappointed with my experience here, although it is usually a fantastic place to get baked goods, this time not so much.

Food was too cold, weather was too hot the ac barley worked and they were all out of ice for my soda will I come here again? No. What if they fix they’re Ac and food? Maybe then yes.

A shadow of what it once was. I knew this place hasnt been popular in Visalia for some years, but we gave it a try anyway. Pretty sure it's just the same food they offer frozen in stores but it wasn't bad. Small portions in some instances and not much vegetable diversity. The problem is that this place could make a few changes that would drastically improve the experience. The cups were so small, everyone needed 2-3 refills, and since the servers seemed overwhelmed, multiple people at different tables had empty cups all the time. I was waiting for my ice to melt just to get some water. I'm not sure why they had the quick, young servers selling pies instead of waiting tables. Also, when pies were brought, cold pies weren't cold. Warm pies weren't warm. It was a bit sad eating the mildy tepid pie. I know Marie Callendars probably has a certain business model that doesn't have the greatest quality food, but you can maybe make up for it with decent service.

Food was okay, waited in the front area for probably 15 minute before we even saw someone who worked there. Our waiter was great though.

The meatloaf was excellent! It came with a soup & dessert included! The cheese & potato soup was delicious and the huge piece of cornbread was great!
Will definitely be returning.

I’ve been there twice an every time I go literally no staff acknowledges me nor greets me; and for that exact reason I always walk out.
