Absolutely the best! Consistent, fair, very accommodating and friendly. I thank God for their services for our communities. God bless them, richly.

I went to this alteration shop to get my daughter's dress altered. I ordered a dress online & the online store was making it to complicated to exchange. I could not zip the zipper up all the way on the dress, and Ms. Sharon added fabric in the arm pit area. She did a great job, and was very helpful. I would definitely return to them and recommend.

A friend of mine recently wanted to go out of his way to find a business to patronize in his community rather than what was more convenient by his work. He came here with a recommendation from his dry cleaner's because he needed some suits altered. The woman there was very rude to him. But being that he has class, he simply took his suits and left without complaint and will be going to the tailor by his work.
" I want to patronize businesses in my community so I get a recommendation from my cleaners. She recommends Marie’s Experts Alterations on Western and 82nd. I go there and the door is locked. I ring the bell a lady lets me in. I say “Hey, I called this morning I need to get a couple suits altered. ”She says, “Did you bring your shoes. ” I say “No they are the right length but I’ve lost some weight and I need to have them tailored to fit. ” She says “Well if it’s only a few inches we won’t be able to help you. ” At this point I’m thinking this lady is rude but maybe it’s not her day. I’ll be patient. So then she says “Well there is the dressing room go put the clothes on. ” I go to the dressing room, put the clothes on and she says “Do you want to see yourself in the mirror? ” I walk over and to the mirror assuming she would begin getting my measurements. She then says “We don’t work with dirty clothes. ” At this point I am confused I say "What do you mean I dry clean my clothes regularly, in fact I was recommended by the dry cleaners up the street. ” She says “Well I see spots on your suits and we don’t alter dirty clothes. ” At this point I consider letting this lady have it but then I remembered a lesson my mother, a master shopper, taught me as a child. She said if a business in my community won’t a patronize a customer like me, it is bound to go out of business. So I got my suits and left. Looks like I’m going to be patronizing the tailor that is by my job not by my house……"
Don't go here. Period. Any business that can't treat people with common decency and basic respect doesn't deserve the business.
