Marina Poke House

Seemed to get frustrated with me about certain requests like putting a small amount of ponzu sauce over the top of the bowl. Doesn’t seem to be an issue anywhere else. If you are paying $20+ for a bowl I feel this was a simple request.

I’ve never seen two people so phony. They pretend to be nice but their far from it. When I first went there the portions were decent but it seems like the more you go the skimpier they get. I just paid 20.00+ for a bowl of rice with some toppings on it. May be the last time I go there. Not worth the money. God forbid you order extra ingredients. She’ll pretend to put extra ingredients in but then puts them back. Very irritating

Wow, my first ever Poke experience. So yummy! Fish is very fresh!

EDIT: the COVID pandemic was declared over by the WHO and CDC in May (3-months ago!). Please take down your COVID stuff. It’s awful standing 15 feet back from the counter with plexiglass blocking your voice while the lady speaks barely intelligible English. Please remove these barriers to good communication…you’re difficult to understand as it is.

Worst customer service! I don’t understand why they are so stingy on their vegetables! I paid $17 plus tax for a normal poke bowl- it comes with three proteins and they couldn’t give me a full tablespoon of cucumbers? They give you the tiniest of pinches for each veggie you choose, which is difficult to see because they have the area in front of their bar roped off so you can’t get close enough to see what your options are. Overall it was the most frustrating experience and we would never go back. Honestly, I should have just walked out halfway through when I asked for more cucumbers and she added two more tiny slices.

Hands down the best poke place in the Monterey Bay Area. High quality ingredients, generous portions, and very friendly staff. Family run! My wife and I have been going here for several years and will make special trips from afar for this spot. Thank you poke house Marina!

I’m super disappointed about my first experience. I love poke! I normally go and hit Poke house in Del Monte center but I decided to finally try this place and boy what a bummer!
I walked in not seeing anyone and honestly didn’t think it was open. I walk in a stand there and someone comes out and right away can tell im such an inconvenience. There’s no care at all about the food they’re putting into my bowl and if I’m pay $21 for a large bowl I expect it to at least be half way filled… there was barley any fish for being 4 scoops… it was warm as well. At the end when offered sauce…please make sure you put sauce in there. It was a light drizzle. I don’t know, definitely won’t be back.

Was given the wrong kinda of fish. The food was very average to below average for an above average price. I will not be going back.

Friendly service and staff. Made suggestions for us. Quick service. Enjoyed the Cali Bowl and Spicy Tuna. Great value
